Wow, I didn't know so many of you were such copyright advocates.

Because it would be totally embarrassing and hypocritical if a bunch of people who've spent years decrying copyright and being smugly pro-piracy suddenly pulled a 180 and started slapping faggy brand logos on every KF video to deny the same fair use you benefit from to other people.

Your watermark should say "I love the DMCA."

I suppose it is still up to the community to use the watermark and thus not exactly the same as a soulless corporate decision.

I think the community can benefit from this just because of symbolism.

Feeling a sense of community around indeed our own labor encourages identifying with being some nigga that uses kiwi farms.

Niggas feelin dat is good for the site long-term.
 
I HATE WATERMARKS. But you guys can do whatever you want with your videos and all. Its a free country (unless you live in Britain.)

im pretty sure the point of the watermarking is less to mark stuff as ours and more to troll faggots who want to use the videos for youtube slop

The onus of the whole thread was actually just an autistic joke that was basically caused by an extremely pivotal clip (bossmanjack getting arrested) getting niggermarked and the original clipper/kiwi who did the niggermark justified it because the YouTubers who were using the clips were engaged in cowtipping and gay shit:

...Right but people may have made that mistake because

1) copyrighting clips of other people's material is exactly what the site has been accused of by its critics before, gatekeeping, cornering the "✌️lolcow economy✌️", which is a real thing that people have said,
2) those same critics already think of Bossmanjack as "our" pet lolcow,
3) it's true that clip channels and members don't get the credit they deserve for what is essentially a tedious job that gets appropriated by lazy grifters,
4) YouTubers mad, which was funny, but also confirmed the Farm's value to these sorts of channels,
5) you made a Community Happening post on the thread telling everyone how to do it,
6) I've already seen clips being posted in the last few days on the site doing it,
7) there were 16 pages of enthusiastic support, ideas, plans and assent for the idea before Null made his opinion known, and
8 ) EVEN REDDIT FOUND IT FUNNY.

Can you really blame people for thinking Operation Niggermark got the Biden vote? I thought it it had.

It's people's choice what to do with the information. If they cowtip, they cowtip. If we were sincerely concerned at how disruptive idiots waste their time, we wouldn't be - what's the word we're using now? - phonebooking people.

Right but that works both ways. Everyone steals. We post YouTube videos all the time and deny channels a few views. I've posted stuff from info I've seen on slop channels (one of them is literally called Slop Live), and I don't credit them, usually because it's available information I double check anyway. YouTube, slop channels and adblockers are (for now) free, something YouTubers have grumbled about for a long time. If we can't agree on why we're doing it, out of pride, to be funny, to get credit, to spite YouTubers, to get recognition, to advertise, then we shouldn't do it.

And for people here who sit here in safe and total anonymity calling YouTubers who show their faces and have something to lose 'cucked' because they censor themselves, I should remind you the last time the top YouTuber tried to normalise 'nigger', the media called him a Nazi and pushed the site to enforce censorship standards. YouTube has not yet divested itself from clown world.

While it did technically tell users how to do it, it didn't say people should do it and was really just a super absurd post (which included me niggermarking the post I made with a signature saying nigger). The point wasn't to tell people how to do it (even if that is how it might've been perceived) but to show how beautiful the autism on the farms is that a drag and drop niggermarker was created in 6 hours since the term was first coined.
 
I voted Kiwimark simply cause I think the people stealing the clips should still *want* to steal them, they'll just have to possibly reveal their shame of having been on KF. While the other one will basically make it so they cant use the clips at all on most social platforms.
 
Idk if one has already been made and I'm not reading through all 28 pages of the thread to find out but would anyone be interested in an exe wrapper for ffmpeg which has this command built in? that way you literally just drag and drop your file on top of it and it will shit out a *_sneed.mp4 file in the same dir with the watermark added onto it. Will provide full source too so you can build it yourself if you think it's MOSSAD spyware. But has anyone done this yet?

Alrighty I don't care, one more script to do this wouldn't hurt

(sauce is here, it's just an ffmpeg wrapper with the params hardcoded, written in Go)
If you want to build it from sauce then just:
Bash: 
go build -o kf_watermarker main.go

Windows download: https://github.com/kivirnz/kf_watermarker/releases/download/v1/kf_watermarker.exe
Linux download: https://github.com/kivirnz/kf_watermarker/releases/download/v1/kf_watermarker

On Windows, you can just drag and drop the file onto the icon to have it print out the output in a file named [filename]_sneed.mp4
On Linux, you need to specify the video as a param like:

Just make sure you have Golang and ffmpeg installed on your machine and added to path before running, but that's basically it

Built this in Golang because modularity is fun and far less bloat than Python, also changed the ffmpeg command to utilize 4 threads to make it faster but you can change it from the sauce as you wish

I've attached a random video I watermarked with this as an example, but yeah happy watermarkering

Tried to do this on Win10 I know im close but something is fucky wucky , I also had to get this font file .conf :




and had to edit it but , I think I am still missing something :

Just wanted to chime in and tag @Probably An Autist thank you for your post this was the only thing that actually worked without any issues.

All the other stuff from installing "go" to the other stuff just wouldn't work but your script/batch file worked , and from there I can edit it to do different things , Thanks !

[Necro] The niggermark revolution should have never died. I like what people said previously about requiring a sign up for non watermark versions to convert the ammount of guest viewers into members. That way it would indirectly force sloptubers into acknowledging in some capacity that they are using the farms to generate their revenue.

I tested this with free online remover tools when discussion was first had (cos obviously kiwituber faggots wont pay or configure their own shit) and the niggermark is quite durable, especially the ones that cover the entire screen. Same with any moving/animated watermark.
I doubt anything has changed in 6 months. I still stand by my niggermark being the best.
