I had to say goodbye to my 18 year old cat a couple weeks ago. She was diagnosed with kidney disease and we switched her (and our other two) to high quality, low phosphorus duck canned food and she lived four years after her diagnosis. Her body just gave up one night, so we said goodbye. It was the hardest thing I've had to do in a long time, but it was the only thing I could do.
She liked stealing my food, begging for food, eating, the duck canned food unless she wanted beef or tuna, treats, people food, getting jealous of my other cat getting attention, sleeping on the loveseat next to me, sleeping under the blanket in the winter, and watching the leaves fall in the autumn.
She
hated our younger cat, having her paws touched, and being picked up, except by me - sometimes.

She was beautiful and I miss her.
My younger cat is much happier now though, the bed belonged to this one and now that she's gone my little one can get on it and get attention from me or sleep with my husband at night
Anyway, she was the best cat in the world and I wanted to tell y'all about her, because she was great.
