Weight loss support thread

I've yo-yo'd for years at this point. Got in the best shape I've ever been in, had visible abs and everything, a couple years ago, and I've just been straight gaining ever since. I get to a point where I feel like I'm successful and have reached my goal and then say to myself "well, I'm done with that shit!" and then gorge myself. I've got a problem with binging.

All that being said, I'm trying to lose it again. I was most successful doing keto and 5x5 lifting program, I'm going to do the same now but I'm going to try to heavily incorporate long term fasting to see how well that works. Just started two days ago and ended a 48 hour fast last night. Holy shit was it hard to not eat. Fortunately I know it gets easier over time as my body becomes less demanding of sugar.

I am at 133 which was the skinniest that I was I was a teenager. My BMI is at 26. I only have six more pounds to lose until I am at a healthy (anorexic for you Americunts) BMI.

I lost two inches off of my bust, like WTF I just bought new bras. Thanks, scumbag body.

The real question is that can I lose 16 pounds in 16 weeks for my vacay?

My BMI is at 22 thanks to lockdown weight gain. I've been looking into using Duromine (Phentermine) to help get it off a bit quicker along with diet and exercise. Anyone tried this?

Well, after a month of being a lazy cunt and with the weather looking like it's going to cool down in the coming weeks, it's time to lose some weight before the inevitable Christmas fattening happens in a few months. About 85kg/187lbs, let's try and get that as close to 70kg/155lbs as possible.

Update: I am down to 130. I now wear a women's size small and now can wear Asian XL and Girl's XL.

Those medium scrubs are now too baggy, and I just bought those in August. :stress: Uniform advantage at least is kind enough to make scrubs in XXS.

I lost moar inches off my bust again. I am now a 32DD. I just want to lose bra cups instead of band sizes. The ratio between the band and bust still remains four inches.

Despite being fifteen pounds overweight for my frame and height, I wear a size small or a size 6. Like what am I suppose to wear once a reach 100 pounds? Little girl's clothes? This vanity sizing is way out of control. I remember being in the 130s in the 2000s, and I wore a size 12 or a large in women's clothing. This is beyond ridiculous.

I have no idea where you live, but in the US, petite designer jeans, tops, and dresses will still fit you if you reach 100 pounds. You can order them from Nordstrom Rack for a lot less money than regular department stores.

And yes, some juniors' clothing is very basic and neutral and should work for you, too.

LOL, I was talking to my mother-in-law about fashion a few weeks ago, and we were talking about stupid the concept of "Junior's Petite Plus Size" clothing is (in the US). Like, it actually exists. You must be short, fat, and shaped like a brick to fit into that.

I stalled this month at 17% body fat. After listening to Bigger Leaner Stronger, reading a body recomp paper from Jeff Nippard and figuring out my macros I came up with the following:

234g of protein
342g of carbs
86g of fat

Calorie Target: 3100
Resting metabolic rate: 2074
Male, 5'10, 215 lbs

I dropped from 24% bodyfat to 17% from July to September, so none of my pants fit. My weight hasn't changed, and what I lost in fat I built back in muscle. My target is 12%.

The trouble is, figuring out my diet plan is hard for me and I have issues eating more consistently. I figured out the protein macro at first and just targeted that. 234g is a shit ton of protein to eat, even spread over the day. Anyone have any tips?

Update again.

Since September, I decided to lose the last amount of weight slowly and gradually (plus work and college are kicking my butt). I was lethargic and cold all the time which made me want to maintain my weight loss. The good news is that I am no longer lethargic and cold all the time, and my current weighing is 128 pounds which makes me only one pound overweight for my height, not my frame size. I keep losing inches off of my boobs the most it seems. I am now a 32C.

Buying a new wardrobe not only is expensive and very frustrating. Randon, cute, cheap clothes online do not carry an extra small but only a small, and I still have weight to lose. (:_( Half of the clothes online seem plus-sized. I bought some women's medium tops, and they look like more tents than a propper medium. Like WTF. I regret not buying a small.

Finally decided to put my shit back together after I found out I'm at 34 BMI. Always been very tall, so I never looked like a fatso despite being overweight most of my life, but since the coof started I have done nothing but eat like a pig and that shits catching up to me.

Have been working out everyday for the past 2 weeks and only eating 2 meals a day + a little breakfast. I wish I could stop eating breakfast but I generally hit the gym in the morning after I wake up and I feel dizzy as hell whenever I go there with an empty belly.

Pray for me my fellow kiwis, for the poison they call sugar is a delicious evil indeed.

I've been eating 2 meals a day, taking long walks regularly, and I have gained weight.
My doctor straight up told me my genetics just suck ass, fml.
I have been having some good luck with intermittent fasting, limiting eating to between 4pm and 10pm. I have lost 0.5-1.0kg per week over the last 6 weeks by doing this and eliminating as much sugar from my diet as I can without being too autistic about it. I got a lot from the complete guide to fasting (ISBN13 ‎978-1628600018) which explains the theory and why CICO basically doesn't work in the long term. I wish I discovered this because losing 30kg a few years back was an absolute fucking grind with compared to what I believe it could have been if I was doing IF as opposed to CICO.

IF is a bit like a reset switch and does take 1-2 weeks or so to get used to but I can now do close to full intense resistance workouts in the morning, go to work and then have an evening meal a lot later. I am now getting to the point where I don't even really feel hungry before the evening meal also, so in a few weeks I'm going to try my first multi day fast and I will submit a full trip report when I do.

If any of you are plateauing in your weight loss journey I strongly suggest you look into this. You only need to look back a few pages in this thread to find people doing something similar.

If that's all your doctor had to say get a new Doctor
I definitely left out a lot of details, but the gist of it was me mentioning my weight issues at a checkup, and him asking some questions about my dad's weight and height and stuff. My dad's taller than me by a bit iirc, and he's built like a monster. I'm pretty sure my genetics aren't that bad, since I could get ripped if I did some actual weight lifting and such, but I'm just looking to lose fat.

I'll look into lol, but I don't really control when I eat my meals. I will try and cut out sugar from my diet all together though, since I do have cereal for dinner about once a week.

>Fasting 24h
>yesterday when I woke up: 85kg
>still fasting
>83kg

Almost 48 hours since my last meal, I still could go if I wasn't alone in the house and there is still food to be eaten, or it will spoil.

Living alone would make fasting really easy.
eat food now or you'll end up like the chick who ate 10 pounds of bananas and almost died
