I assume so if he spends so much on snacks that the said snack allotment is enough to buy home gym equipmentOh is he American?
I was able to buy clothes in the regular person department
From personal experience as a type 1 diabetic, buy only diet soda, the cheaper and bitter the better. It will taste like shit, but it will be your only option. After a few weeks, you will get used to the taste and no longer crave regular soda. Then you can quit the diet stuff, which is a lot easier as it doesnt have any actual calories in it. Sweet teeth not backed up by actual energy are a lot easier to suppress.Anyone have any advice on getting rid of soda/energy drink cravings? My doctor put me on a "if you don't start eating right you'll get the diabeetus" diet about a month ago, and for the most part after the first couple days it actually felt good to be eating real food. Even lost 15 lbs already (although I know the weight loss will slow down because a lot of that was getting the salt out of my system).
Problem is, I still pretty much have a constant desire to drink NOS. The only thing I've found that helps even a little is chugging water to make sure I'm not legitimately thirsty instead of craving carbonated sugar water.
I've been debating getting one of these VS building a standing desk and eliminating the chair altogether. I spend far too long in front of the PC, might as well try to make it healthier.I got a deskcycle to use whenever im at my PC now so I can burn a couple calories while browsing here. It's a little thing but just idly peddling that feels way better than just sitting down.
Anybody know if they make a treadmill that will fit under a desk?
Ouch. They do for standing desks but they're like $500, at least on Amazon
I used to do that until my exercise bike broke from being old.Got a new exercise bike a few days back and honestly it's the best investment I've ever made. Would def recommend to anyone who wants to start working out but doesn't want to go outside or is generally unfit - just plop it in front of your computer/tv and go to town. If you get something interesting to watch the peddling just becomes muscle memory too.
