All fast food chains have a reputation of inconsistent quality, in Football fan towns like where I live they tend to work harder because of the pressure of venues.

Doesn't necessarily speak of quality but often times menu items range from bland to actually enjoyable, on a busy day.

I've eaten Wendys in several different Canadian towns from Vancouver to places almost as small as Yahk. It's always the same here. Even in the city I live in, I've eaten there several times (it was on my driving route) and it's always the same quality.

I forever am searching for the mythical good wendys.

You'll have to come to America then, much like how McDonalds in Great Britain has the worst breakfast of all the countries.

It's mind boggling you pay just 1$ on your sandwiches.
The cheapest one on McDonald's here it's like 5$,add fries and coke and it's like 25r$(7$) yeah doesn't sound much but you can a free buffet all can you eat for that price.

Their fries and frosty's are pretty good. I wanted to try their taco salad, but I haven't really gotten around to it. :)

Or maybe it just seems bad compared to the full English breakfast. Considering the country in general has a bad reputation for food, specifically an incomprehensible habit of boiling meat, their breakfasts are pretty top notch.

As much as I do enjoy Wendys it's worth mentioning that their gimmick fries always end up a soggy mess of shit from being sealed in that little container.

Arby's is seriously stealing thunder from Wendy's in my area, apparently...

If you mean things like those ghost pepper fries they're a giant mess and just so much fat in them that they're disgusting. They're barely better fresh. Wendy's fries are also just not that good to begin with, even before you bury them in liquid heart attack sauce.

The problem with Wendy's specialty fries is they don't really vent the plastic carton lid, which is something they've been stubborn about since the 1990's sadly.

Some of the Wendy's back where I'm from had Chips and Chili.. For a buck it wasn't bad if you had a craving for messy snack.

I hear people saying how amazing Wendy's is, and how there food is the shit. Is it purely a Canadian thing that Wendy's is gross? Like really gross. Wendy's is easily the worst fast food restaurant I've had in Canada. I'd much rather eat 7-11 food, even their cheese tastes better...
No; I once ate there and the burger was cooked to death, their bun was frozen, and they even fucked up my sides. I legit don't understand this assumption that it's just your country's one is shit since my east coast ass has experienced this on multiple occasions from different ones. I know of at least two burger joints cheaper than Wendy's or as expensive that kicks their ass off the top of my head.

Liar. Wendy's says their beef is "Fresh never frozen," and a corporation would never lie to me.
