Western Animation - Discuss American, Canadian, and European cartoons here (or just bitch about wokeshit, I guess)

I was read that Owl House TMS article and the tweets featured in it. Notice that nobody talks about the actual show itself, they just praise it for representation.
It's also sad that sheeps from the cartoon community talked WAY more about this over amphibia. Proving themselves that they rather watch the gays over good story.

"Why is it considered not valid to love a show for two characters' relationship with another?"

Bitch, Lumity is all anyone ever really talks about when it comes to The Owl House! So much so, that when a male character was introduced as a potential love interest for Luz (Hunter), you flipped your shit and declared their relationship to be more like siblings so that your precious pedophilic lesbo relationship wouldn't be ruined! These people legit live in an alternate reality from ours, Jesus Christ.
Because bisexuality is only accepted IF you date the same gender, if it's the opposite, no one would gush about it. I imagine if TOH where the same except with Hunter filling the role for the love interest, no one would give two shits and thinks the show is for the "straight folks".

I remmber recently when they went after Anna Paquin becuase she identifies as Bisexual and she's married to a man. And it piss them off for some reason.

Rebecca Sugar got this a lot too, but doubly so because she married a black man. It's all progressive until it doesn't fit into those ironically conservative little boxes huh.

Mermaid man: Listen up you villains! I wanna eat my meatloaf! If you don't get outa here then by the power invested in me! I now pronounce you man and wife!

Orderly: What is going on in here?!

Mermaid man: You may kiss the bride!
Patrick: Did you reunite our heroes?

Spongebob: No, but I'm married.

God, could you imagine the shitfit if that joke aired today? I fucking shudder.

So the PBS show Arthur has ended.

Has anybody else ever seen, or even heard of, The Proud Tree?

It's a cartoon I saw as a kid about an arrogant tree named Rex who gets chopped down and turned into the cross that Jesus was crucified on.

I can only find a trailer.

It got pretty intense when it got to the crucifixion stuff. In the end Rex is moved by Jesus and he repents his prideful ways, and Rex is rewarded with rebirth as a baby tree.
