Liking Final Space for the most part so far but the dialogue can be pretty painful at times

By the time this show hit, I was already in my late 20's so it was out of my league anyway, but I wouldn't doubt there were kids that generally liked it.
I'm sure the same could be said for the crew behind Baby Looney Tunes as well (I noticed a few names in the credits of people I didn't expect to be on that).I might've liked it for all I know, but it's been so many years and the show kind of quietly disappeared. I've been thinking on sitting down to watch it and see how it held up, but I don't entirely believe there wasn't a single person who worked on the show who didn't once believe in it. The writing team at the very least had to have been trying the whole time.
Man, I remember that one back from the Newgrounds days!Hey, speaking of which:
Who else is talking about CalArts? I recall them being a frequent target of JohnK/Cartoonbrew, I dont think they've done much notable as of late.Speaking of backlash, a mention of CalArts in another thread

It doesnt bug me much, just weird. I wont lie that I like the art style for these compared to whats on TV these days.personally, it never bothered me as much....but maybe i like ugly things.
Being further honest, I've seen far fucking worse, and I'm use to ugly stuff - look at Rick & Morty, for example.
The New Mickey Shorts are easily one of the best if not the best modern cartoons honestly. They've never made a bad one.![]()

I personally don't see anything too wrong with this, only idiots on DA will take a joke out of context and interpret it as fuel for their sick fetishes.![]()

adventure time and steven fagiverse are CalArts style shows, right?Man, I remember that one back from the Newgrounds days!

In terms of meeming, yes.adventure time and steven fagiverse are CalArts style shows, right?
In terms of meeming, yes.
In actuality, I think only Sugar was a CalArts alumni. Everyone else came from either different schools or were just hired off the internet iirc.
Ah, right.Correction: Sugar never attended CalArts; she was a School of Visual Arts alumni.
Ah, right.
But that does beg the question- did anyone involved on CN's current line up even go to CalArts? Or are they just meming it because the shows and their styles suck and CalArts is the only art college in Hollywood that they know of?
The original Muppet Babies had those fun live action sequences as some bite and wit to it; this looks more watered down.Next on animated reboots nobody wanted:
Like a 4 year old is going to remember Muppet Babies.
I usually have nothing bad to say about these shorts myself. They're at least taking the characters to new avenues.(And... unpopular opinion time.)
No, I actually like these shorts. Being further honest, I've seen far fucking worse, and I'm use to ugly stuff - look at Rick & Morty, for example.
It's sad when they ruin the fun.I personally don't see anything too wrong with this, only idiots on DA will take a joke out of context and interpret it as fuel for their sick fetishes.
That was the case, at least back in the 90's when that 'retro-kitsch' look started to appear in shows like Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab and such. Prior to that, they were basically Disney's little training ground for possible talent to hire, why people like John Musker, Brad Bird and Tim Burton managed to find place to step in once they passed through CalArts. Some of the people there did, in fact; but it's largely a meme because it's the most famous art college that teaches animation out there.
I knew this wouldn't measure up.The original Muppet Babies had those fun live action sequences as some bite and wit to it; this looks more watered down.
