There was a background Harriet in the original run:

Then some leaked concept art, is this what you were referring to?

I also found a bg Frida Kahlo from the original series, but jesus christ

I'm so disappointed with the designs we got because an artist I really like worked on the character designs.
Tara Billinger, one of the creators behind Long Gone Gulch!

And what do you know the concept art looked GREAT. Some suit, some fuck ruined it, I refuse to believe that a professional artist saw these designs and passed them for the shitty one we got in the show.
I don't think they knew what they had with Clone high, they could have had a show with cult status and new animation that you can only find on places like youtube, but they fucked it. Crying shame.

There was a titok artist I liked that made redesigns of Harriet Tubman and Frida Kahlo that looked SO much better.

They're not perfect, but as far as "high school clones of famous people in a UPA inspired art style" go, these are more recognizable and more appealing by miles. I don't mind the reboot's Confucius design, it's about as Confucius as Gandhi is Gandhi, but the girls got the real short end of the stick.
These look so much better in every way imaginable, it’s such a shame the series turned out as badly as it did but at least it won’t shit on the original anymore.

Honestly it almost feels like Confucius was designed to be the way he is and is so thoroughly excluded by the other clones as a contrast to the newer clones and how shitty modern trends have become. He’s like the one redeeming aspect of the reboot for me anyway.

One of them voiced Chip Skylark in Fairly OddParents, I think Chris Kirkpatrick?
Oh yeah, I forgot about that one. I was thinking Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts I.

What makes this even funnier is this battle of Sephiroth was, at release, exclusive to the North America release of the game, making Lance Bass the first person to ever voice Sephiroth.

Support all artistes and animators, no wait, not that one! Ugh, it's like, Current Year, mes amis, like, can we not with the heckin' heteronormativism?

I think he was making a comeback or something around that time if the Chipmunks movie is anything to go by. Remember, he was Theodore in those movies. Oh shit, no, that was Jesse McCartney. I think the point still stands, everyone at that time really wanted a music star hearthrob in their movies.

It's pretty much the same reason why Taylor Swift and Zac Efron were in The Lorax, star power.
This came out a year before Shrek 3:
He was definitely having a comeback. People saw him as that guy who became cool after leaving *NSYNC and him and Andy Sandburg were big with the SNL crowd. SNL actually being respected back then to warrant popularity.

I literally just saw a /co/ post where they were talking about how the animation union is using porn to sell their cause. I guess Yaoi is completely acceptable but a few pinups are not.

I always liked Dragon Tales (wiki) even if I wasn't the target audience (3-7yrs old), who could have a kids show about preschoolers and dragons taught me about emotional intelligence.
Love the theme song too
This show feels like it's got a disgusting furry following like all other children's shoes featuring anthropomorphic animals.
