Youre confusing video games and movies. The only movie I remember I liked from 2004 was the bucket list. I mightve forgotten a ton of them.
2007 had three great movies. No Country for Old Men, There Will Be Blood and Assassination of Jesse James. Those were, in my eyes, the best movies of that year. And 2004 had Incredibles, Sideways and Million Dollar Baby, and those movies are great.
EDIT: I had a little sperg meltdown there and I want to apologize

The 2000s also had two or three great movies a year. 2004 and 2007 being great examples.
2009 was probably the best if you want animated stuff (Coraline, Secret of Kells, UP, Princess and the Frog, Ponyo, etc)

Except I wasn't talking about animated movies, just movies in general. 2009 also had District 9 and that movie was awesome.

But yes, it was also a surprisingly great year for animated movies as well.

Ponyo 2008
Nigger, no I am not. 2007 had three great movies. No Country for Old Men, There Will Be Blood and Assassination of Jesse James. Those were, in my eyes, the best movies of that year. Its a joke, dont get so fucking angry. And Assassination of Jesse James is mid, Sideways is something I havent even heard of. Incredibles and Million Dollar Baby are good not great. Arguably im too attached to the past so my standards of great differ.

Eh 90s>70s>60s>2000s>80s>40s>50s for me when it comes to Hollywood. I don't have that many 2000s movies to go back to cause Hollywood was really mid, especially cause of the bush administration everything was a mid terrorist or spy movie. 90s on the other hand, every year had at least 3 great movies.
Isn't it so interesting that all the decades you weren't alive fore were the best in your mind?

I'd speculate that to be bias as the only shows that would get re-run are shows people would want to watch again. People might still be watching the original The Little Mermaid in a decade with no knowledge that there was a live action or a Disney corporation.

The Twitter account of the movie Elemental gave a batshit insane tweet, giving a fake footage of a whole movie theater going crazy over a character that had like three minutes of screentime in the movie.

The marketing team are not doing this film any favours at all.
