It's crazy to think they got people like Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, Justin Long, Lucas Cruikshank, Irate Gamer, SeinfeldSpitStain, Cool Cat, and all these other people to be in this one project.

Out if the three "conservative toons." Made as a fuck you to hollyweird why is it tuttle twins is the most...tolerable. like if it didn't take ANY political stances and was an edutainment stem show. I can see it airing on PBS alongside cyberspace or magic school bus a lifetime or two ago.
First chip chilla was skewered by animation spergs for being a ripoff og their precious "Australian dog daughter" bluey, now Mr bircham gets flack for being tosh/black show 4.0 only with the shock and raunch stripped out. (Even by us apparently) TT may not be 100 percent original (the concept alone is giving my flashbacks to cat in the hat knows a lot about that and the character designs look like lost wild krattsbackground characters) but at least it's not trying too hard to rip off the most popular kids animation or what's popular in adult sitcoms right now.

He's Still a mick sperg who should stuck to making analysis videos on family guy like phantomstryder or Steve reviews.
I wanted to go easy on the kid cause I he seemed like a nice boy albeit a little spergy but hey name me any adult who talks about animation online who isn't. But he's really pushing my patience for stupid over the line.

So I finally watched The Thief And The Cobbler last night after years of hearing about it but never seeing it, at least this version from last year that tries to put as much together as it could.
You can definitely tell this film was made to see how hard Rich could flex his animation skills for an hour and 40 minutes (or what he could animate) since despite the incomprehensibly jaw-dropping viewing angels being animated and how many "animate on 1s" scenes he could cram in, not a whole lot really happens in terms of overarching-story and a lot of scenes are filled with visually crazy shit going on like at the end when a whole Rube Goldberg meltdown happens. And I think that's mostly the point since his Magnum Opus really was just a showcase of his mastery in his craft as an artist. I don't know if it would've a been cultural hit; remembered for decades to come as a timeless classic had it actually released, but it sure as hell would've been avant-garde in its execution.
On a barely related note, I couldn't help but see similarities between this film and Double King by Felix Colgrave since both are rather abstract in their world and rulers, and The Thief and The King (from DK) have somewhat similar archetypes of wanting shit for themselves while following along towards bigger and bigger prizes (The Golden Balls for The Theif, bigger crowns for The King).
Which makes me curious if Felix ever drew inspiration from TTaTC to make Double King.

Watched Glitch Techs over this weekend because /co/ had two fap threads for it. Yeah, this show was not good. A few decent episodes, but mostly a whole lot of mediocrity that people will heap undue praise onto for the way it got screwed over, like how people praise Infinity Train despite being consistently "meh".
All I learned from this is that Ashly "At Least I'm Not Anthony" Burch was a talent too good for this crew. Man, when is she going to come back to anime dubs? She was great as Mayuri, Sasha and Millium.

his entry in the last one was terrible...he had the audacity to introduce himself like he was hosting the damn thing and his segment was barley animated. There's a rumor Chris did the initial drawings and voice work but someone else had to finish it up just so his entry could qualify.
On the one hand I'm glad conservatives are trying to fight back against the liberal media industrial complex...on the other we need more shows that at least tryyy to be on the level with koth. Slice of life adult cartoons that tell actual relatable stories that adults can relate too..actual adults not forever stuck in goth/emo phase doomers btw.
So points for effort but it's gonna be a while before we see conservative lead shows that despite being made by conservatives swing more towards appealing to normies and families.
It's still tye early training wheels phase for right leaning animation....but remember the thing about training wheels is they gotta come off someday.

I think a big part of what Con Inc misses (or maybe they don't and aren't to the point of making money at _that_ yet) is that Hollywood was basically always crooked money shit and kid fucking, also making movies.
"make a parallel economy" works fine if it's producing widgets, but not so much if it's funny numbers to move cash around for child sex trafficking

It's a shame Adobe killed flash. Sure when it looked cheap and when it looked bad it was bad. But it was probably the closest we ever had to an all in one universal animation tool. Toonboom, studio, and whatever other programs for animation that exist today? Either they cost insane amounts to use so that only big studios or crowd funding can support then or they're even worse and cheaper looking than flash was.
Con Inc really should have stepped up and thrown their hats onto the animation ring sooner than they ultimately did...if they had I can't say for sure of con Inc based animation would be better by now but it would have at least had more time to work through the growing pains.
Them there's also the split within con Inc itself and their pundits opinion of animation. Some like Matt walsh will bash bluey as banal junk food for kids (but not his own of course) one second but gladly offer to Cameo in rob Schneiders new daily wire plus show which happens to be a bluey ripoff.
Right now it's really a coin toss if con inc can pull their heads out of their asses (and Zions ass) and understand what attracts am audience to animation. Write for the audience first THEN for yourself.

We ain't ever getting a peak wrestling cartoon ever again like Mucha Lucha. I tried watching the Rey Mysterio one, but I kinda feel like it's boring.
I wanna remain optimistic that the new wrestling cartoon coming to CN will be good, but when secondary to background characters have a better design than your MC, shit becomes concerning.

So, I noticed a little while back that Family Guy got cut from the Fox Sunday animation block and is now on Wednesday. Then I saw recently that it's being pushed to a mid season 2025 premiere, and Seth is talking about some FG movies coming out on Hulu. I’m really starting to wonder if they are finally done with the show or if they’re going to push it exclusively to streaming (which is a death sentence anyway). Any thoughts?

Who knows, but if its ending, thats at least good. Seth always wanted to end the show for awhile but kept it going just so he can get his friends to keep working and more money so he can fund other stuff.
Either way, if it ends, Seth MacFarlene has more dignity compared to the likes of Matt Groening and the South Park Duo for at least ending his show.

Seth knows that even Family Guy has gone far too long. He wanted to end the show as early as 2008, and 16 years removed, he's getting his wish, while Seth's other show American Dad's finale is undetermined given TBS (and its parent company WBD) being hush hush about the state of its run
