The legacy the Clone High reboot will have is just the same as the Boondocks Season 4 where both will not be talked about compared to the series glory days
It´s actually incredible how they fucked up so brutally a cartoon with a cult following fans who loved the original, now clone high is dead, buried, and with some bits of non-binary retard tumblrinas who are going to draw fanarts for a couple of months and forget it forever
No.

Except "talking animals, fun songs, pretty dresses, and toys going on adventures" are not "cool stuff". (Well, talking animals may be cool, as long as they're more than funny sidekicks.) Soy cocktails meant for pre-pubescent girls do not taste much better than soy cocktails meant for hormonal teenage girls. I preferred cartoons that included serious fighting, violence and death basically since I remember myself, starting with watching Bambi at about the age of 7, and I'm not exactly a high-T chad or difficult to scare.
I think that kids taste in this modern times is more varied, really, I have nephews and I know, probably because now they have every entertaining platform available, the taste of every children is very different, there´s brainrotten kids who watch youtube kids crap and peppa pig 24/7, generally younger neglected kids/toddlers, other kids who love skibidi toilet and digital circus, they are teen titans and gumball kids, pre-fujoshis who watch shit like miraculous ladybug and helluva boss, and some strange kids who watch more retro/2000 shows, technically modern animation survives if something it´s very popular or if the adult fandom is very loyal...also disney adults

If it makes you feel better, a fan who actually gave a shit about the show and characters put together a much better send off than whatever steaming pile of shit libcuck millenial hacks did

Don’t quote me on this, but one of the most popular cartoons today is Tom and Jerry. Kids wade through Cocomelon and other slop to watch it on YouTube.
Tom and Jerry uploads be they by warner or someone else tend to top view counts in the millions. I think it's a mix of nostalgia and also cause Tom and Jerry isn't like other golden age cartoons. Or rather they're a strange hybrid of them.

Tom and Jerry's art style especially in the early 40s looks like it could rival Disney at times. Just look at the art on shorts like night before Christmas. But the humor and writing is very fast paced and relies heavily on physical comedy, kinda like the clampett or jones era looney tunes cartoons.

Tom and Jerry is very artisticly pleasing but unlike a lot of golden age cartoons the pacing isn't too slow so kids really can pick up on it pretty easy. I think that's why before the cartoon cartoons came along cartoon networks star attractions were tom and Jerry and scooby doo reruns.

That incredibly ugly and grotesque on purpose artstyle that Big Mouth pioneered and now Primos! is using must die.

It's the most off putting shit I've ever seen.
BTW, at the end, what happened to Primos? I swear not even the hate-watchers want to touch that shit...probably not even the brave and stunning latino mexicans born in LA want to see this stuff, I actually saw the pirated first episode...it´s not even so stereotypical...it´s more like....so, sooo boring...

I remember T+J reruns on Cartoon Network when I was a kid, not to mention T+J Kids on the main few channels. It seemed to always be around in some form.

I've watched 3 seasons of Miraculous Ladybug. I think that's enough for now, they've calcified into an unshakable status quo and pushed their most interesting character's development off a ledge to remain an element of the status quo.
They change things around with Season 5, but it's not great overall. The show starts off nice, but they really dropped the ball after the first 2-3 seasons.

Season 3 probably is the best season to leave on. 4 and 5 will just piss you off for how much they set up for other characters just to throw it out the window so they can crowbar it back to Marinette and her wacky antics (THAT WAS TOTALLY A TRAUMA RESPONSE THAT HAS NEVER BEEN HINTED AT OR MENTIONED BEFORE).

Am I the only one that liked this show?

the "Ranting Sweed" part was always my favorite.
Cartoon network actually had a thing for this show when it was new. Sheep appeared in the best place for cartoons bumpers, was on ads for the network and even had a spotlight in DC's Cartoon Cartoon comics. Then it just up and vanished and they moved onto the next thing.

It may have been because they poached the creator mo Williams who created the off beats from nick to get it. Everyone at the time was trying to one up nick back then. Disney buying jumbo pictures and getting the rights to make new episodes of doug, CN luring creators with the (supposed) promise of better creative control over their work. (But the network ultimately still owned the ip rights)

Oh well...in somewhat more happy news remember the promised show gross girls? The upcoming CN show whos first impression was this?

there's been no official word from anyone, but with Warner shuttering CN and a shift in programming away from the older audiences they had in the last few years. It seems highly likey this turkeys been scrapped before it even got a chance to cook to full doneness.

So I guess that Lumberjanes cartoon is also dead, I presume? This might sound gay but I was kinda looking forward to that. Oh well.

"Sheepie's got enough money to eat, 'cuz he's a telemarketer!"

"Hello?"

"Baaaah!"

"Is this someone trying to get me onto a pre-approved credit card?"

"Baaaah!"

"I'll take two!"

It's a shame too, because Marinette and Adrien in their civilian identities are actually very likable characters, and the show's art style is actually appealing to look at; it's a nice change of pace from the usual beanmouth slop.
