Just to update, I finished up Moral Orel. Have to admit, season 3 did change my mind about the show. I liked it very much.
The show's still not perfect, and I stand by my opinion that S1 and most of S2 sucked, but S3 redeemed it for me. Although a lot of really important and serious issues felt really rushed, but I understand the show had a bunch of problems with [as] concerning that. Now I get why people praise it so much.

I enjoyed watching an edit of the show that put every event in chronological order. Made it easier to watch! It's on YouTube if you want to do a rewatch that way.

Good, maybe now it can die and instead we can get the first good Scooby content since... actually a lot of the direct to video films and specials to come out in recent years have been pretty decent. And Scooby Doo and Guess Who was at least better than Be Cool.

Looks like he's serious about this. Allni can say is Farewell phantom. He was up there with the likes of Steve reviews or Dr wolfula. One of the good ones, a cartoon sperg sure...but one I could enjoy listening to after work when I didn't have anything else to do.

Please note idk what this guy says, if anything on social media or if he's done anything on par with ls mark or animat. I only know him as phantom strider and his random worst of lists ranging from a countries cartoons to the worst goods McDonald's ever put on the menu.

I had a fucking weirdly coherent dream last night about a Rugrats sequel following the kids as adults with their own babies, with a whole first episode plot and everything. Which is weird enough already because I hadn't thought about Rugrats in years, but then I thought of that shitty 3D remake where they made one of the moms lesbian and realized I had literally made something better in my sleep. Thanks, subconscious.

Apparently that Wild Robot movie is coming out in a day or so, havent heard much about it since the first trailer came out.

The voice acting in the more recent trailers sounds decent enough ig, mostly the animation just looks very pretty. Most recent dreamworks movies have been pretty disappointing (ruby gillman, trolls band together, kung fu panda 4, megamind vs doom syndicate) so hopefully this one will be solid. As long as the story is a bit cute and it isnt annoying to watch itll already top everything else dreamworks put out in 2023 and 2024.

Seeing as its about a robot and a bunch of animals it probably wont have any woke outside of basic environmentalism stuff, but who knows maybe they manage to shoehorn it in anyways.

I've been watching some MASK lately, and wow, this is a great show! Advanced technology, cool vehicles, good strategies, cool launches -- what else could you want? I have no idea why it has a bad reputation for being stupid or something, unless people think it's stupid just because it's based on a toyline. Also, any recs for similar cartoons? Vehicles must have lots of screentime; characters, ongoing plot, and comedy aren't important.

True but as I said, the best shows went above showing off what to circle in the the toys r us catalog and tried to tell endearing stories to some extent. Going back to the d&d cartoon example Paul dini KNEW going in it wasn't the most glamorous or prestigious thing to be working on a long shot from the Disney afternoon or what he'd later do with tiny toons and batman, but rather than half ass it and have 22 minutes of fantasy characters clashing with pretty colors and maybe some cursory explanation of how a d and d campaign works. He tried to make the most of whatbhe had to work with.


I've heard he even tried to subvert or undo a lot of the idiotic "rules" and standards writers where under at the time like complainers always have to be wrong or the group not the individual is always right. The stuff he saw on the REALLY shaccarine corporate mass produced greeting card crap like getalong gang the clowns of happy Town.....yes those were real shows and yes they tucked so hard even I can't defend them.
