Another adult swim stop motion series, I'm hoping it's not yet another cynical story about people running a corporation. I had enough of that with Santa Inc.

It looks more interesting than that, I hope it goes in weird directions.

Oh interesting it's by Cinema Fantasma, who did Frankelda's Book of Spooks. I've always wanted to watch that, but I never found a good free english subs version.

But, srsly, idk why I was even slightly hopeful this was going to be an accurate adaptation of the book in le current year. It's such a good book.

I get the kind of feeling from this movie like I do from the Del Toro stop-motion Pinocchio. At least Pinocchio was nice to look at... some of the time.

So what? It's just one exaggerated, preachy political caricature being replaced by a more fitting one for the current year. Commies were yesterday's bogeyman; now Trump is the new red menace for the "enlightened" higher society.

If Orwell were alive today, I bet he'd happily write at least three orange-man-bad novels by the end of the month just to get those sweet, sweet shekels from his overlords.

The communists weren't boogeyman. They were some of the worst that humanity has ever unleashed on Earth.
