I wouldn't go to that far. The fandom won't say it but Dana wanted a stocky butch as one of her main characters.

You combine that with the uwu emo baggy eyes and the tiny realistic pupils and it looks off-putting. It's still only a pilot maybe they'll refine the design if it gets picked up.

Everyone arguing over what this chicks genitals looks like is probably not the takeaway the crew wanted from the pilot.

Seamus has always been in the same headspace as something like Garfield to me, which, considering his peers, is certainly not a bad thing all things considered, I wish him the best, and I hope he can secure the funding (it seems like the GSG is going well), but this dude is going on about how he's gonna change culture with this series in his announcement video, which seems like some very high ambition for a show like this.

That has always been a thing in the Glitch community. You can trace it all way back to 2018-2019, when SMG4 began its decline. The episodes were getting worse and worse, but because the fandom is so weak-minded and easily impressionable, they'll cheer and applaud anything with the Glitch logo on it. And not only can they not think critically, but they also can't accept criticism. I remember the time when some people often accused Meggy, Saiko, Tari, and Melony of being Mary Sues, given that the writers tend to be WAYYYY too biased towards them. You wouldn't believe how the simps fandom exploded with anger every time that happened.

You know, something I noticed about Knights of Guinevere is that almost every piece of fanwork of this series is about Princess Guinevere. She is literally the character that the fandom, and the general public, likes and cares about the most. While there is stuff about Frankie and Andi, the amount of fan stuff Guinevere receives is disproportionate to the amount both Frankie and Andi receive. It's especially notable in crossover art; Princess Guinevere is always the one used to represent Knights of Guinivere. It's difficult to find art that uses Frankie and Andi appearing by themselves in crossover art.

And this makes me wonder how well the show's merch will sell. Ever since the massive success of Digital Circus, Glitch expects each new show to perform in that same capacity, hence why they have tons of merch since day 1, because Gaslight District also has tons of merch despite only being a pilot. However, seeing as how Guinevere is the one character people care about the most, I doubt they'll be able to sell non-Guinevere merchandise in large quantities. It's not like Digital Circus, where each character has their fair share of fans, and so they can cater to each of those characters' fan bases with merchandise of those characters, But Knights of Guinivere so far only has Princess Guinivere as the fan favorite. While I guess there is people who may like Frankie and Andi, I doubt they will love them enough to buy products based on them. In any case, they may just buy them to support the series.

I don't see him as Garfield tier. He's more of a Veggietales man. Every once in a while; talent, money, and American Christianity manage to get together and not be cringe. He's Catholic but that kind of super-optimism reminds me a lot of evangelicals hocking The Complete Sermons of Rev. Lovejoy Cassette Collection - 'change your life today!' Maybe the fundraising strategy rubbed off on him.

The content of his show is not going to move the needle, but if their animation method really does deliver something watchable at that low of a price point? The proof of that will indeed change culture. There's a lot of sidelined talent experimenting with AI for inbetweens right now. Budget is stopping these non-retarded, blacklisted animators from being very productive. Seamus will give them a process and ballpark budget to replicate.
