Western Animation - Discuss American, Canadian, and European cartoons here (or just bitch about wokeshit, I guess)

I found this and thought it was beautiful to be honest.
Nice little short film with gorgeous visuals and very fluid, non-flash-based 2D animation.
I really miss seeing films animated this way.

when it comes out on digital, i can play it for movie night
then we can all watch it as a family strangers on the internet
update: we did it, but it took 3 tries and everyone hated it
it was the best hate watch to date

So, some spergs are whining about adult cartoons on Twitter. I’ve said this before, but the constant whining about adult cartoons being “2edgy4me” grinds my gears. And of course, since this is Twitter, some idiots feel the need to bring identity politics into it, like “oh, these shows only appeal to cishet white males”. It’s stupid, really.

They have to find some reason to justify why they watch Steven Universe in their mid-20's. A reverse superiority inferiority complex.

what's especially annoying is even if you take the like 10 (And I think I'm being generous even for them) Modern, airing, generally considered 'good' cartoons, that's like, 1 percent of all actual cartoons.

Thanks for reminding me to stay off Twitter and watch whatever BS I like in peace, m8. I only wish more people did have the balls to stay off Twitter in general - especially these Gay Space Rocks lickers, for example.

Reeks of that small period of time where most celebrities had some sort of sketch show on the air, via the 70's.
Yeah the 70's was ripe for that. Hanna-Barbera also seemed to like desperately branching out into all other entertainment formats but to no avail (KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park as one example). They obviously weren't going to see Disney levels of grandure.

I mean that still kinda happens (Scoby Doo meets John Cena)

No different from when they were doing it back in the 70s.
The only episodes of that era I remember are the Batman and Robin and Harlem Gobetrotters one. When I was younger I thought the Johnny Bravo episode where he teams up with mystery Inc was a legit episode of the original series (I was flipping through channels and when I got to the episode it was a couple minutes in and the intro had already played so I had no clue)

Anyways finally got around to watching Gargoyles: I've only finished episode 1 but it was a pretty good introduction
