What are some dead games or niche games that have annoying communities?

Strange title since when most people think of an annoying community it's usually a more mainstream series but there are certainly some cases and I'd be interested to hear others experiences

I personally elect the banjo kazooie community of being full of annoying retards, the constant copium and reach they go through to get their hopes up of a new game and refusal to just move on or make their own shit is beyond annoying especially since none of them can be pleased, Tooie exist and they hate it because it's too different, grunty's revenge exist and they forget about it, nuts and bolts exist and they hate it because it's also completely different, for whatever reason they bank on toys for bob making a new banjo game while completely ignoring that Crash and spyro play completely different from banjo and if Yooka laylee exist( another game they shit on) and was made by people who worked on banjo and yet still didn't get understand what made it good then I don't see how a completely different team of people can deliver expectations

another honorable mention goes to Klonoa, fun games but the community is full of your typical weird furries and consoomers who blindly praise a shitty remaster and pester people into buying them while not bothering to look at it critically and just ignoring the fact that bandai has zero reason to give a shit about the series and scammed them out of their money seeing as how years later and still no patches to the game or anything regarding a new game

Habbo Hotel is pretty retarded. You can buy room decorations with in game money that can only be bought with real money. People grind the in game currency by larping as McDonald's employees in a custom McDonald's room. The room/server owner literally buys and hands out this currency for the roleplay experience to keep his server popular. Nearly everyone in the game speaks Spanish.

San Andreas Multiplayer was pretty cool until it got overran by foreigners, like a long time ago.

It hasn't been updated in almost 10 years and the base game doesn't behave on newer computers.

I guess it has a community, if you speak Russian or Spanish.

i think some of the neptunia games are ok i especially like the combat system fromt he ps4 era that was strategy focused, but the community was full of tards who go on reddit and say that they dont even like the games but theyll buy them anyways. not to mention chris chlorinated that particular fish tank with his mere existence years ago

The Silent Hill fandom are laughably retarded, but I guess they're annoying in the way that they just make up plot points that never happened in game, and then when confronted with "That didn't happen" they just invent even crazier things rather than just admit they got it wrong.

For example, in the first game, a girl gets burned alive by accident because the old boiler in her house malfunctions and causes a fire. It's explicitly stated in-game, but the fandom have decided that she was burned alive intentionally by a religious cult as part of a ritual, which just didn't happen.

The developers of the later (shittier) games in the series didn't even bother to play the first game, so the retarded fan theories that make no sense are now canon, it's pretty funny.

Hollow Knight. They've got the same kind of lore autists and masochistic git gud faggots that Dark Souls gets as well as those same kinds of autists metroid gets. The weird tranny speedrunning kind. It also seems to attract weird artfags. Though some of the fan art is pretty cool. That and the copium about Silksong. I hadn't really looked into the game for years and I did another playthrough recently and went and browsed around a bit and it seems like there's still a pretty active community around the game.

Basically every idle game ever that wasn't immediately dropped by the devs, they aren't that deep but people will spend hours sucking up and jockeying for kiss ass position in order to get some little Easter egg that no one besides them cares about added to the game. All of this where the optimal strategy is always to do increasingly complex math in order to optimize their runs that no one cares about.

Pre-WoW MMOs are both some of my favorite games and they seem to only be populated by either super chill people that have let the game's place in their life grow with them or the most unlikable creatures I have ever met. I don't get tripped up in conversations often but I swear it's like talking to space aliens with some of these people. Asheron's Call from '99 comes to mind. Super cool game that did a bunch of stuff that games are doing now, it's 20% nice enough people but 80% of them are weird mutants that have been frozen since 2002 or something getting into retarded slapfights that even Ethan Ralph would walk away from .
