What Are The Worst Character Designs You Have Ever Seen?

Something I was reminded of, having seen it on IMDB - where it has a 1.9/10 rating and according to the summary the characters of "Lil' Rob and his friends" are involved in "hi-jinks and shenanigans""

This is pretty terrible for a cartoon from what, 1999? Wait, what? It was released in 2012? It just has that look and feel of something that was created in vague hopes of cashing in on a mishmash of fads and trends a few years past their peak.

(This one gets double-awful points for being about a kid who needs to piss constantly. My three-year-old loves it, and I'm a bit concerned.)

(To add to the annoyance of the garish design, Lola's voice is nails-on-chalkboard)

(Shimmer and Shine was at least bearable when it took place in the normal human world, then they moved to this technicolour nightmare genie world where everyone has dangerhair.)
I remember watching that Rollie Poly Ollie (weird circle robots one) as a kid. Always creeped me out a bit, as they would sometimes stick their badly animated faces far too close to the screen for comfort. That and everything in their world had eyes. Everything.

Rob Dyrdek, the guy who made this show, was apparently a former skateboarding athlete and from what few episodes I saw on youtube. The whole, EXTREME stuff feels a lot more genuine rather than being made by a corporate mandate, a la Rocket Power. Show is crap instead from more common reasons.

Rob had his own show on MTV called Rob and Big, so a few people here should know who he is. I'm pretty sure he funded the entire thing, that's why it's so low budget, and if not, he was for sure the celebrity endorsement to get kids to watch it since it came out when his other show was out.

I remember seeing ads for it while watching my regular shows when I was young, which annoyed me because I was way too old for toddler shows and was watching shows for my age group when the ads would air. I remember thinking the animation was really shitty and suspected it talked down to kids as well.

Shows made for the pre-school demographic routinely have awful character designs, you do eventually get used to it, but even then there's a few that take the cake.

My only defense for Charlie and Lola is that I grew up in a Britcuck house and my sister watched it all the fucking time.

What in the absolute fuck am I looking at?

I fucking hate it when anime makes these awful character designs that are clearly just fetish fuel. Like, look at this and tell me the artist didn't jerk off while making this.

Reminds me of the furry community and how they make their fetishes so apparent and shameless. Like, you want to draw a sexy character? Fine, but I can't take the story seriously if this is what I am looking at.

No one seems to have mentioned Life is Strange yet. The attempt at being hip, cool, relatable teens takes a huge nosedive for me with their speaking/use of slang words and phrases I have never heard a teenager say in real life (at least not where I am anyway). Plus the clothing and pairing of the two main characters just appeals to Tumblr a bit too much

The only conspicuously missing tumblrness is a fatty.
