What Are The Worst Character Designs You Have Ever Seen?

Of the various Fate designs I hate, this guy’s easily on the top of the list, mainly because I keep seeing him wherever I go.

What’s wrong with this one in particular if you don’t mind me asking? There are MUCH worse Fate character designs.

My main issue is that the shoulder guards and skirt look too different from the stockings and suit he’s wearing. Though after looking at what you posted, I think I may have to take back what I said about his design being the worst.

That can be said for 90% of Fate characters. Poor Gilles De Rais gets some of the worst of it considering that in reality he was convicted of the same crimes as Jeanne but the implication is that while she is completely innocent he actually committed the horrible crimes for whatever reason. Granted he has an alternate form that appears to be the innocent version buuut later comics reveal he has thoughts of murdering kids too and just doesn’t act on them. Don’t even get me started on how any of the medieval peasants and knights under Artoria’s rule thought she was a man despite her not looking anything like a man and not even so much as bothering to dress like one in any flashbacks we’re shown, and no it wasn’t Merlin magic.

Honestly I think objectively the worst Fate design is Wu Zetian's (mainly her forms other than her first one), it's bad because it's pedobait with looking like essentially a naked 4th grader. It doesn't help that the actual historical figure is actually more beautiful than her Fate depiction (which is because of the writer for the chapter she debuted in has a lolicon fetish)

It doesn't help that in the reference materials, the illustrator sounds uncomfortable when describing how they designed her

The request was an ecchi and total S loli empress. I’m doing my best for the sex appeal in a body without any sex appeal. I felt like saying that her forehead and slanted eyes must definitely go like this. If you look at it, the hair rolls are like the image of a portrait crown. The clothing on her breast is not a ribbon string, but a tube top bra… but it really looks like a string, huh…

At least the writer supposedly redeemed himself (mainly given the large backlash it got in Japan) and a lot of characters from it were salvaged

Also another bad design is the Pork Pie Hat Kid from Jojo Part, not only does it look weird, it's really out of place since this character feels like they aren't at all from late-1800s America and feel like a character that would've appeared in Parts 3, 4 or 6

I feel bad for these illustrators, sometimes they get a pretty cool/fun design and other times its 'what I'm drawing could send me to jail'.

I can’t stand the art style of Crayon Shin-chan, so...every character from that show.
Also every character in Shark Tale.
If I may pick on toons aimed at really young children, there’s JayJay the Jet Plane, and over in Japan, Anpanman’s cheeks and nose look like gigantic pimples.
