What are you playing right now?

A bit of Animal Crossing here and there. Also getting ready for another playthrough of The Witcher Trilogy (with mods) once I finish The Witcher Book 7: The Lady of the Lake.

Imperator: Rome. It's nice to play a Paradox game that doesn't require your life savings in DLC. I managed to colonize and unify all of Caledonia last night. Next up: addressing the issue of the Eternal Anglo.

I hooked up the old Gamecube to the TV because I felt like playing some of the fantasy golf courses in Tiger Woods PGA Tour. I have 2003 and 2005 and I would probably pick up 2004 were I to find it at a thrift store because that one has an Arctic/Antarctic-themed course that isn't on either of the ones I have.

2003, which has "Predator", the course in the jungle with the Mayan pyramids and the main one I wanted to play, looks really dated but 2005, which has the Japanese-themed "Emerald Dragon" course, actually holds up pretty well against the Tiger Woods PGA Tour games I have for the XBox 360 except for the lack of visible crowds, which isn't necessarily a bad thing since that means I don't see the creepy synchronized animations where many people in the crowd make the exact same movements at the same time.

The downside of 2005 compared to 2003 is that 2005 is on two mini Game Cube disks which means more courses but also more flipping.

Red Faction Guerilla. Strange game - I think the developers made a cool tech demo and them hastily slapped together a game around it.

The destruction concept is kind of cool but everything else is super boring. A large empty map, super jank car controls and basic and sloppy story. Missions are weird too. They do this thing where you drive somewhere to accept a mission and then drive for ages to another location to start it. In a better game that is done deliberately for character dialogue, show you a new area of the map or at least you can listen to the radio. Here they did it because it was what other open world games did. So you just drive for 3 to 4 minutes through an empty wasteland.

Put in a fair amount of time so I'll power through the main story but not a game I see myself ever coming back to.

I recently finished Yakuza 0. Great game, but I had to stop 80 hours in, because no way I'm going to 100% it by playing the mahjong minigame.

Currently I'm replaying Bioshock 2. I haven't played it since it came out. The gameplay is better than the first one IMO, but anything besides gameplay seems like a step down. Suffers too much from "sequelitis".

Then I'm planning to play some rhythm games: Rhythm Heaven Megamix, Vib Ribbon and Taiko no Tatsujin.

Bouncing around wiith a few different games at the moment. Just started the Zero Escape games with 999, just hit Christmas Eve in Persona 5 Royal, and going to try out The Evil Within 2.

I've been jumping around various DS games after installing Twilight Menu ++ on my 3DS. Previously, I was playing Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, and Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier. Right now, I'm playing Super Control Mecha MG, a fuck awesome mech game from 2006 by Sandlot and published by Nintendo. As it was only released in Japan, I'm playing the fan translation.

After finally finishing Oblivion, I am starting Morrowind for the first time, but I am already confused. I made my character balanced in Combat and Stealth with Conjuring and Recovery as backup, but I am getting my butt handed to me. Do enemies not level up with you in the game this time?

Switching between Animal Crossing and Bloodstained at the moment. Only went back to Bloodstained because I saw the new modes added the other day. Then I read the Switch version wasn't getting those modes until June, so I'm slogging through the game on hard mode until then.

Just got Call of Duty (the very first CoD) to run on my PC and I enjoy it (though some missions make me rage)

Been going back and forth between MLB the Show 20 and a replay of Witcher 3 with a bunch of mods. I'll probably drop the Show once real baseball starts though.

For some ungodly reason, there're chances to miss your targets like in a turn-based RPG (so even though you're clearly hitting someone, RNGesus decides that isn't good enough). It gets tied into how much stamina you have, which happens to govern every goddamn action from swinging a sword to even cooking potions. Seeing as how the simple act of running drains stamina, getting ambushed by enemies in the early game can become a total pain in the ass.

Look up a guide to help build your character around that nonsense if you're on Xbox, otherwise there's mods to mitigate all that.

I have been using a spear and apparently I have to be moving towards or away from the enemy to do real damage.

Mostly emulating games on retroarch, right now I’ve been playing snes games and when I finish that i plan on moving to Sega Saturn and PlayStation games

I've been putting most of my gaming time into Persona 5 Royal. I'm now on the bonus third semester and I've loved all the gameplay changes.
