What are you playing right now?

I know, the entire removal of Flappy Bird from the Apple and Android stores is kinda weird. The creator basically said, "this is more than I wanted, now I hate Flappy Bird."

Me, I'd be rolling around in dollar bills from the ad revenue while snorting hysterically with self-righteous laughter, but to each his own.
He already made 50 grand from it off ad revenue. Its clear he revoked it because of all the negative press he received from it being a ripoff and stealing sprites. He also has other games on the store so he obviously doesn't want more negative press to impact them.

I would adore, just adore, to be playing Killer Instinct 2013 right now, but thanks to my adamant refusal to purchase an Xbox One I'm out of luck. I cannot justify buying a system for a single game, so I'll weep in my corner and continue to play Hitman: Contracts. I was informed it was recently made available on Steam; I still have my copy, eat it.

Borderlands 2. It's one of the few FPS I really like. Though I really want to try Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon. I love how Eighties-tastic it looks.

It's pretty good but it's not a full length game. Bare that in mind. It's very possible to 100% the entire thing in 7 hours.

I don't mind too much if it's a short game. As long as it's good I'll keep playing it.

Turned on my Xbox and made a new Oblivion charcter. He's a Redguard Paladin custom class.

Dark Souls. Trying to do a little Darkwraith PVP before they take the servers down for good. I've been sequence breaking a little to get into the Darkwraiths early. It's worked so far, but the Four Kings are proving to be a significant roadblock. I actually maxed out a Pyromancy Flame just to fight them.

Also, I recommend playing through at least most of Far Cry 3 first, since you start off Blood Dragon with a lot of the skills you have in the main game and it throws you into the action faster.

I've been playing a metric ton of Red Dead Redemption.

I'm actually preferring it a great deal to GTA5.

"Rolling Coins" for my shitty iPhone which I got it for free. Basically a game about a coin's adventure into a candy machine.

The Banner Saga. A Strategy RPG about Fantasy Vikings. Surprisingly good. It's like Fire Emblem meets Oregon Trail.

"Long Live The Queen" which I got from sale.

Also, "The Plan" about a fly.

I tried out Far Cry Classic's demo. It's the console port of Far Cry 1.

It implements a lot of changes I actually legitimately agree with. It makes the player's machete a toggle button rather than a separate weapon. It also removes the "zoom" function and replaces it with iron sights, and redoes the animations along with upping the textures. At the same time it keeps the core gameplay the same.

I gotta say I kinda dig it. I might get it in a few days.

Is it the original Far Cry? I know Instincts was supposed to be sort of the "console HD remake" of that game.

I should buy that again....

This isn't Instincts no. Its a port of the PC version.

I'll check out the demo. I played through all of Instincts as a Gamefly rental, and I greatly enjoyed it. If anything, I enjoyed it more than Far Cry 2 (though the latter game did give me an interest in African mercenaries).

Holy shit, FINALLY beat the Four Kings with my low-level guy.

Used the Crown of Dusk for +20% magic damage, compensating for +30% magic damage taken with a Spell Stoneplate Ring, heavily upgraded Sorcerer's Set minus the hat, and the Crest Shield. Used Great Fireball, Great Combustion, and Combustion with the maxed Ascended Pyromancy Flame.

Once I got their attack tells down, they got roasted. Great Fireball was hitting for 600+ damage, and even Combustion was doing well over 300 per hit.

Also, I can't believe I didn't get into Dark Souls PvP earlier, because this is awesome. I'm invading really low level players with insanely powerful pyromancies and a +4 Velka's Rapier.

I don't own Dark Souls so I have no idea what your talking about. I want too though.

He's referring to a boss much later on in the game, and about the PVP. I'll briefly explain.

The player in Dark Souls is an undead, who has this sort of zombified look to him/her. The player can go to a bonfire in the world and sacrifice souls inorder to return to their human form. However doing that can prompt other players to invade your game, or they can choose to help you out against a particularly tough boss. There are organizations in the game world that specifically let you hunt for players who kill other players for instance. You can also band together with friends.

In Dark Souls's predecessor, Demons Souls. There was the player's Soul form. Which made the player glow. Where you did more damage but your HP was halved. And your regular form. Which had your HP at full but you did less damage. Worse still players could also invade/help the player out when you were in your regular form.
