What are you playing right now?

I'm replaying Ratchet and Clank, it was re-released on the PS3 and it looks absolutely stunning in 720p

I was playing through R&C2 on the HD collection. And unfortunately, I encountered a bug that prevented me from getting through the game.

It was after you got the glider and you had to deal with that weird robot with the wrench. There was supposed to be a prompt that allowed you to activate the glider, but it wouldn't come up.

So needless to say, I wasn't able to finish the game. Kind of a shame, as I was having quite a bit of fun with it up until that point.

I'm mostly going through the entire trilogy starting from R&C1 through to R&C3.

I played Ratchet and Clank like 10 years ago, and it was back when I didn't have very many games for the PS2. So I would continuously replay games I already owned, and R&C 1 was one of them. I replayed the game like 4 times all the way through back on the PS2 before I eventually got the sequel, and did the same there. Then with R&C 3 it was like "OMAHGAWD ORGASM"

I also picked up the Jak and Daxter trilogy (which isn't a trilogy I played as a kid, nor ever completed). So I might wait til I play more of R&C. I also heard Ratchet Deadlocked was remastered in HD so when I complete R&C3 I might pick that up.

I LOVED R&C3. Definitely my favorite in the series.

Dr. Nefarious is the shit.

I just started playing Fallout: New Vegas. I also started to play Mirror's Edge, but I uninstalled it after I found out just how bad some parts lag on my computer.

Got a new computer, so I've been playing lots of Red Orchestra 2 and Rising Storm now that I can handle it at the proper frame rate. Still lags like a motherfucker on most servers, though.

I'm surprisingly good at it, and normally I'm pretty poor at multiplayer FPS's. I think it's, ironically, the added realism: there's less reflexive twitch shooting and the individual stats of the guns doesn't matter as much when one or two shots kills with almost every weapon.

Could be the PhysX-option (or whatever it's called), which is activated by default. I had the same problem, especially when glass broke. When deactivated, it should run just fine.

Game Dev Tycoon. Got my "The Lulcow Company" bankrupt because I'm stupid at this game. Restarted and it's going well so far.

Watched slowbeef's LP of Dark Souls and ended up getting back into it. Made a caster who relies entirely on magic, parries, and backstabs to deal damage. I'm about up to the Capra Demon, and I feel like that's going to suck.

Currently, I'm trying to take out the Darkroot Basin hydra to open up Dusk's stuff. I'm wishing I'd taken the Master Key, so I could just take the back road into Blighttown and skip the Capra Demon entirely.

Actually, his LP of Dark Souls is why I've been playing it lately as well. I'm playing a dexterous cleric/sunbro whose primary weapon is a claw. I betrayed the forest covenant. :( I'm in Anor Londo right now, in the middle of my first playthrough. I'm playing on the Steam version.

Still playing Fire Emblem Awakening. Decided to restart my game halfway through in order to play on Hard mode.

Definitely more challenging, although the reinforcements attacking as soon as they arrive kinda threw me off a bit at first.

Also finding myself restarting a lot to save the guys I like. Mainly in the late game though, as early game is pretty good at giving you plenty of soldiers to work with.

I'm not going to lie, I did a ton of grinding to stay in par with the enemies the game threw at me. In particular, I
cheesed the hell out of my parent units to make uber children.

Far Cry 3. It's fun to enter a pirate camp and wipe them out with takedowns and never being seen. Not a single bullet fired.

I have 20 bucks to spare and I want to get something for the 360. Thinking about FF XIII-2 but not sure. It'd most certainly offer a crapload of playtime which is what I'm looking for.

Get Dark Souls

I had a contact on my friends list that had legitimately acquired 1000 hours into the game over the course of several New Game Plus playthroughs, another on my contacts list has 350

I've always wanted to play Dark Souls. It looks pretty punishing. I just don't have the time to sink into that right now.

Does it have a decent story? I always thought the draw to Dark Souls was it was supposed to be to OMGWTFSOTOUGH

The other night I was watching my friend play Octodad. I haven't laughed that hard at a video game in a while.

It has a very interesting story, but the game makes you look for it and put the pieces together. It's not one of those games that shoves it in your face; there's a couple of NPC speeches, and that's about it.

Dark Souls's story is very subtle. It alludes to very large things in the world and makes you seek them out as opposed to showing you things.

Adding to that the difficulty factor in Dark Souls is a way of teaching you how to play the game. The gameplay is very solid and the RPG elements very pronounced.

It's a fun game and does eat up a lot of time. Go for it.

I am playing Arcanum as a Half-Ogre who is dumb as shit. I rarely had this much fun with dialogues.
