What are you playing right now?

I just got the last of 160 fragments in Final Fantasy XIII-2. Now all I have to do is beat all the DLC bosses and then I can throw the game out my window.

I'm playing a bit of Hammerfight now and then, it's a shame that the developer has no plans on making a sequel, since he spent an amazing amount of effort on developing the setting:

Essentially, you fly a helicopter barely large enough to fit a man but with enough torque to lift a massive hammer/flail/sword/axe/combination thereof and get into mid-air melee fights with other pilots using opposing and flowing attacks and dodges, differing ranges and damage types, blade facing (some weapons do blunt damage on one side, blade damage on the other and can be turned around with a single click) as well as throwing steel bolts and blades, lobbing acid and explosives and firing mortars back and forth at each other. All of it's done using the mouse and its buttons.

Recorded this to show some of the contrast between simpler early-game fighting and the more complex and challenging late-game.

The green blur is caused by the singing Emerald, one of the many Singing Stones that can be attached to weapons to give them different qualities (like the socketing system in Diablo et al.), the singing Emerald is the only manually activated one and it phases you out of reality for brief periods, meaning you don't collide with enemy pilots or their weapons, projectile attacks or even blast waves from explosives like that massive Siege Bomb from the second round. The kicker of this is that another fighter equipped with a singing emerald in their weapon can hit you if they activate theirs at the same time.

I broke down and got Transistor. Oh my god. The game is absolutely beautiful, the music is wonderful, and the gameplay is relatively challenging and varied, depending on how you set up your character's powers.

Dark Souls 2 still. Just beat Freja the Area-Denial Spider (seriously, that was awful) and got the Black Knight Ultra Greatsword, which for once I'm strong enough to wield.

I've been playing a lot of Skyrim for the past two days. Though I've been mainly just screwing with mods.

Fire Emblem : Awakening. I recently unlocked Lunatic+ and wanna do a run on that.

Played some Dragon's Dogma earlier. Caffeinated_Wench was right about the Magick Archer. Still, I'm sticking to the Ranger since it means I can steal from anyone. I honestly hope to give my main pawn a sort of barbarian look with the equipment I find.

Downloaded Earthbound with my DDP credit. Even if I didn't know what the final boss fight is like I'd find this game somehow unsettling.

Back to my Football Manager. Won the quadruple with Boca Juniors and ready for an Australian club.

Counter-rotating blades are bloody weird.

An Australian club? Does that mean Saney might get put into the team?

Been playing more Dragon's Dogma. Now I just have to go to the Greatwall to fight the Dragon but I think I'll be doing more side-quest before proceeding.

This morning before I headed to church, I played some Dragon's Dogma, fighting the Dragon. As much as how he can be tough, he was easy since the daggers I used were kunai's. Since the dragon has a weakness to darkness, the fight was shorter than I expected. Now all I have to do is face the Duke, go into the giant hole of Gran Soren and get enough wakestones to face the Seneschal.
