What are you playing right now?

Played Simpsons Tapped Out and Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff which are basically money-hungry city building games because I'm casual scum.

Been playing through Doom 3: The Lost Mission expansion. It's fun, but I have to play in fairly short chunks because my nerves can't take regular jump-scares and constant tension all that well. Going to play the Ressurection of Evil expansion and eventually replay the original game after that. The torrent came with Doom 1 and 2 as well, so I'll probably give those a whack for nostalgia's sake at some point.

Mario Kart 8. Pretty good racer so far. Unlock a couple characters and need to try out online play tonight.

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers on the PS2. It's a pretty fun arcade style hack-n-slash.

I had the strange urge to play Fable 2. Started a new game and I'm thinking of making a female Will/Skill character, something different from the Strength/Skill character I've made the most progress on.

You Have to Win the Game, or Where the Fuck am I Going Simulator 2014.

Postal 2. So far my days involved protesters wanting to kill me along with a shoot-out between two groups at a church. Now I have to get a Christmas tree. Surely that can't be bad.

Been doing a bunch of iRacing recently. Had somewhat of a downer of a race, 70 laps in the Nationwide Series NASCARs at Michigan, but we had 4 cautions because for some reason everyone seemed to forget how to drive today, so it was a really long race. On the other hand I managed to go from back of the pack to mid front by the end of it, so it wasn't a total wash.

And on the Road side, I am still 100% too terrified of the Star Mazda Formula car to dare taking it into official races. I can't take the safety rating hit right now if I want to get to drive the GT3 series.

Due to the World Cup fever, loading up a new game in Football Manager (2014 actually) and managed the Spanish national team. So far so good, as I beat Zambia 4-0 in a friendly.

EDIT: Beat Egypt 2-0, and ready for the World Cup. I'm in a group facing Australia, Belgium and Algeria. Good luck to me.

Currently playing through the Digital Devil Saga series.

So far, I'm pretty impressed with it. The premise and setting is interesting, the gameplay seems like a combination of several elements of past JRPG's. Such as Nocturne's press turn system, Chrono Trigger's dual and triple techs, FFX's sphere grid (albeit less restrictive from the get go), and FFIX's ability learning system. It all seems to mesh really well together.

Plus, playing as cannibalistic demons is pretty fun.

I'm playing a game called Enemy Front. Never heard of it? Well that's because it's a middle-market game they decided to release last week during E3.

I'm not going to lie - it's not that great of a game. It plays like one of the older Call of Duty games when they were set back in WWII and not blowing up nukes while exo-skeleton battle suits or whatever, but takes on some more "modern" game elements like breaching doors and the ability to try and stealth through areas. However, most of these elements don't quite work for one reason or another. Stealth is a god-damned joke (although the AI is "smart" enough to try and flank your last known position, so you can double-back on them) and Breaching doors just feels like a chore than a thrill.

Gun battles can be very prolonged, mostly because you can't really see what you're shooting at most of the time (character models blend in with backgrounds, normal visual cues like muzzle flares are really hard to see in some areas).

The main lead is your typical American protagonist, this one a war correspondent (who dresses suspiciously a lot like Frank "I cover wars, y'know" West from Dead Rising) named Robert Hawkins. He is supposed to be covering the war during the Polish resistance, but unless you're from Poland, most of it is probably lost on you since it's essentially a vehicle to give you an excuse to shoot many Nazis (as if you need an excuse) all the while doing things that you have probably done many times before in many other games.

This isn't a BAD game- but it is the definition of mediocre. Everything in competent enough to work and if you just need a mostly mindless game at a budget price, you can do worse, but it's pretty obvious why they decided to release this game on possibly the worst week in the year.

Gotten back to playing Elona. Without the wish room moongate, things will be much harder since said wish room does make some complacent.

GunPoint which I recently got from a Steam Sale. Got a free TF2 hat, the game's soundtrack is awesome and love the jazzy feel, love how the platforming is done, looks great so far.

Soldier of Fortune

Still a great action game. Has aged very well considering how good the animations are.
