What are you playing right now?

Wayward Souls. It's a roguelike for the iPhone that I got addicted to several weeks ago. Quite a difficult game, too - I just recently managed to beat the second dungeon out of I believe six.

Insurgency is fun when you find a rare, non-laggy server.

Seriously 95% of the servers for this game are terrible I don't know what the hell is happening.

Played some Mount & Blade Warband earlier. This time, I'm trying to do some enterprising around Calradia while also knocking out bandits and giving them to a ransom broker. Sea raiders give out the most but there are a lot more taiga bandits.

In addition to Digital Devil Saga 2, I'm currently playing through the original Fallout again. This time as a semi pacifist that tries to solve most problems non-violently.If I can't, well, I'll let Ian handle things for me.

All I played yesterday were demos of Dark Messiah and Dreadout. The former was meh but the latter was fun.

So I was playing Roller Coaster Tycoon, minding my own business, and then- BAM - one of my roller coaster trains exploded.

Chris Sawyer certainly had a sense of humor in his games.

Like how you can pick up a random guy in the park and drop him in a pool of water and drown him.

I used to do that before. :ween:

Trying to get through Legend of Zelda: Link Between Worlds on Hero Mode. Finally got to Lorule, bumped into one of those big guys that throw bombs, and with a full 8 hearts I was instant-killed. Gonna be a loooong playthrough.

Tomodachi life! I made a female and a male chris chan, and I'm trying to see how their lives will go. I'll post a thread if anybody is curious.

Finally got caught up on The Wolf Among us, but since it's a TellTale game, I basically can't say anything without immediately diving into spoiler territory, and story is all Telltale games have, so I'll leave it at "I finished episode 4, and thought it made up for the plodding of 3, can't wait to see what the ending is".

In other news, picked up Verdun for a tenner during the summer sale, and definitely enjoying it. Animations are kinda wonky at the moment as it's still early access, but the gameplay is there for the most part. That said, I have the same problem I have in Red Orchestra where I fail at doing anything other than a rifleman, especially in the tight quarters of the trenches. Either way it's nice to finally have a ww1 based FPS (Well besides NecroVisioN, which ditched the ww1 pretty early for supernatural slayer.) Only gamemode so far is the trench warfare one, which tbh is all you need, as otherwise you could just play Red Orchestra with the SMGs and semi auto rifles disabled for the "ww1 non trench" experience.

In the meantime, try doing a silent playthrough where Bigby says nothing for as much time as possible.

Well it was one of the very first sandbox games. Driving wasn't more or less done well til Vice City and wasn't mastered til San Andreas.
I know that. I've played all the GTAs from 3 to 4. It's still hilarious to see your car flip uncontolably after making a hard turn, though.

Been playing the shit out of Sniper Elite 3.

The story in this game is thus: You are Gravelly Voice 'Murican #3425 and you're in 1943 Africa. You got a sniper rifle and pockets full of explosives. Go out there and shoot lots of Nazis in the face and break all of their shit. For 'Murica.

Seriously though, I love this kind of game- one that emphasizes on-your-feet strategy and planning your shots. And really, there is nothing quite as satisfying as watching some jerkop Nazi's face explode in slo-mo from 200 yards away, then leading all of his friends into a bottleneck you've lined with trip-mines.

You should really try Sniper Elite 2. It's very much the same game just set in World War 2.

They also have the Nazi Zombies one where you have to shoot zombies and stuff.

Well, both are set in WW2, just that Sniper Elite V2 is set in the European front, and SE3 is set in the North African campaign.

But irregardless, yeah, SEv2 is what made me pay attention to the series. Haven't played the Zombie version yet though.
