What are you playing right now?

I was replaying FC3 a couple of months ago and stopped because of the constant crash-to-desktop. I didn't think about running it on Linux.
It's weird that Ubishit went out of their way to add achievements on the Steam version but didn't fix the issues on Windows 10.
Just in case you do, I'm running it on Proton 9.0 with "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%" in the launch commands. To get Ubisoft Connect to play nice I had to install a "master copy" of it with Lutris then add the installed exe to Steam as a non-Steam game, also running under Proton 9.

If the copy of Ubisoft Connect that's in the Far Cry 3 game folder doesn't launch the game, run the master copy first and then click play while the master copy is running.

My shit is so fucked up all I do is play TFT now lol. Every once in awhile I throw up Last Epoch but I have like no desire to sit through cutscenes or use more then my mouse to play a game now...

Super Robot Wars 30. I would like to actually finish the game (got distracted from it in the past) before Y comes out in August. Plots are starting to wrap up so I may give OGs on the PS2 a try as well.

Doom TDA.

I wish I was playing the enhanced version of STALKER SOC and Call of Pripyat.

Dead thread but been playing Labyrinth of the Demon King, a sort of homage to both Silent hill and resident evil with king's field sort of gameplay. Feudal Japan, delving into the castle of a Lord who's supposedly made a deal with demons. You buy stuff from a demon cat dressed like the RE4 merchant who gives you complimentary matcha. Well worth my 15 bucks

Just tried the demo of this myself. I like it so far, but I wish it didn't have that "stamina" system, and it way overuses the "cutscene triggered by you walking into a general vicinity" thing.

Part of my problem though is I had just been playing King's Field: the Ancient City, so I'm having to adapt.

Currently playing Pokémon Violet. It’s doing a good job of scratching an old itch and is infinitely better than literally watching paint dry (I’m in the middle of redecorating). Being able to play for 30 minutes here and there has been great. I just wish it didn’t run like shit.

I beat Jack's game a year ago but now I'm running through CHAOS mode so I can grind to 200 for the DLCs. Also casually replaying Mario Odyssey, the occasional round in AoE2, OoT with my son, and RuneScape (during work hours, of course).

I love Jack's game.

Labyrinth of the Demon King
This one is definitely on my watch list.

I've tested Brigand: Oaxaca after I've read it was coded using... Dark Basic (I may have the Dark Basic CD somewhere still, memories. Didn't know actual games were made using it!) ! On one hand, it's something so shockingly pure in its execution, it's akin to experiencing outsider art. On the other hand, it's fuckingly rough. I gave up after too many crashes. Still, hats off to the guy.

Also started Shadows of Doubt, where you play a private investigator in some noir alt 1990s. A lot of jank but it's my kind of jank, ripe for fuckery.

I've played Total Overdose first time in years and it was nostalgia shattering experience, as I thought. I am remembering details as I am playing like dives, rewinds and guitars, but it was so much more colourful and impactful, lol. I guess this game has such dissonance with memory cause I rented jewel for a month instead of owning it like Vice City or Harry Potters. Oh well, it's still nice and funny experience, next on nostalgia breaking list either Timeshift or Lost Planet

Aside from KFDoom2, been playing tons of OG Oblivion since I recently spent some time again with Skyrim but it's The Long Dark, and its been pretty okay.

Only significant mods I'm using are Dark DarNified UI, and a thing that removes the TES levelling system and just redoes the entire thing like a normal-ass RPG: you get XP from questing, kills, and from certain activities like mass producing potions or the constant armour repairs you have to do.

Also been getting back into Just Cause 3, fuck I cannot get enough of the music in that game: I wish I could rip all the instrument tracks to make my own mixes

Finished DOOM The Dark Ages earlier. I enjoyed it about the same as 2016, though I think the latter is better in a lot of areas.

There is that Switch 2 update coming, but the entry price is a bit steep.

150 or so hours into XB:X and my interest has fallen off a cliff after having gotten to the new parts. Because, you know, what the game really needed was a bunch of long cutscenes where the characters have nothing to say but just won't stop talking...

Tried the enhanced version of STALKER SoC and Call of Pripyat. Ended up disappointed so I went back to the originals.

Nioh 2.
Fucking love whacking shit with the splitstaff
I never figured out how to properly use that thing. Always felt like I was trying to beat something to death with Gumby's corpse.
Give me Axes and as many gigantic cartoon bombs as my ninja pockets can fit. Is being Nippon's Fattest Ninja effective? Probably not. But funny? Oh, yes.
