The Witcher Enhanced Edition. Once you get passed the 2000s Euro Jank and the combat system, it’s actually a fun game.

It's pretty good. Only thing I didn't like was how they told you how many bodies were at the location, spoiling any sort of surprise.Crime Scene Cleaner. It's one of those job games made with Unity. There's something comfy about cleaning up crime scenes for some mysterious guy.
Does that do anything besides open the MLP level? I didn't realize it had become such a big deal.First time I actually got to the Staff of Herding bit in a D3 season. Now I understand why people just usually quit at this point. I've been farming it every day for the past week, wasting 2 hours daily killing Izual over and over, and the fucking plan still hasn't dropped.
There's a whole fucking gameplay mechanic called "Altar of Rites" which grants you account-wide character buffs for the current season, and to access said buffs you have to perform some seriously arduous tasks. Some can just be grinded, some are pure RNG. The Staff is required (and CONSUMED) for the second-to-last node, and unlocking every node grants you cosmetic wings. Previous notoriously awful nodes need a Ramalamadingdong, a Petrified Scream, a challenge rift cache (this one is particularly cancerous because the challenge rift might be just fucking AIDS), ancient hellfire amulet, ancient puzzle ring (have fun reforging) and rank 125 whisper of atonement, which is somewhat harder than clearing GR 125.Does that do anything besides open the MLP level? I didn't realize it had become such a big deal.
There's Prey but that falls under the well known imsim umbrella. If you haven't played it, either pirate it or wait for a sale. It was $6 during the summer sale last week and under no circumstances should you pay more than that. As I mentioned in the post above, I'm currently playing Gloomwood which is good but incomplete and in early access. What's there is great but it's probably only like 7-10 hours of content. If there's anything specific you'd like to know about it, feel free to ask.Anyone here currently playing any good immersive sims? I have this insane itch for one but can't seem to find anything decent. I have obviously played the major ones like Deus Ex. Currently playing the System Shock 1 Remake, which is fun and all but not really what I want (since it's literally just combat)
Play this one in spurts if you intend on completing it. I have 100% achievements until the update, and I can tell you it becomes one hell of a slog after a while.View attachment 7636411
Pretty good game if you want to chill and watch weapons automatically firing at armies of enemies while you listen at something in the background.
Decided to pick back up Back 4 Blood for the first time since 2023. I got it to play with friends before and I decided to play through it solo.
I enjoy the banter between characters and even building perk decks. The different mutations you fight seem unique until you realize it's essentially variants of three different models. A skinny jumpy bastard, a fat blob that either rushes and kamikazes you or throws up on you, and finally a tall thing with a big bulky arm. I played through the game on nightmare with AI help. I completed the first 3 acts and I genuinely despise the 4th act, so I'm done as far as I'm concerned.
I wish EA would add Cats vs. Dinos in rotation again.Playing some GW2, decided on a Charr Warrior, and I am going through the story missions and doing most things in a zone. So far, nothing has changed regarding how I feel compared to when I played it years ago. Really like how the "quests" are structured and how there are always people running around and doing events and so on. Combat is also fun, especially compared to shit like FF14. Otherwise, I am still itching to play WH3. The delayed DLC is a bummer, but I have still so many legendary lords to play.
