What are you playing right now?

Been playing The Long Dark waaay too much. Current save I've survived 76 days so far. Started in Mystery Lake, fucked off to Milton for a few days and lived in the cave in Milton Basin, wandered up to Hushed River Valley for the free moose hide satchel after a moose didn't spawn in the basin, decided afterwards to head to Desolation Point after spending about 2 weeks in Coastal Highway.

So far killed 3 bears, 14 wolves, 31 rabbits (snares only, I'm a bitch baby what can't snap their necks myself) and a few deer.

Got Deerskin pants, deerskin boots, rabbit mittens and hat, and a wolf hide coat.

If you haven't played I honestly recommend getting it before the Halloween event starts on the 29th, I am STOKED! It's been in development since 2013 or 2014, can't remember but the devs are constantly adding new material and have stellar community engagement. They just teased a new region they're planning to release in December called Ash Canyon.

Been playing spelunky 2, I remembered it was going to release sometime this year and went to check on steam to be surprised it was already out. I thought it was more popular than it was and there would have been more fanfare or something, oh well. It’s been pretty alright so far, feels more like an expansion than a proper sequel, but I have been stuck on the first cave section for the few hours I’ve been playing, I’m sure once I get the hang of it the later levels will prove to recapture the feelings of playing the first game

At the point of no return in DOOM Eternal. Don't have max armor or ammo so I might look for more crystals, if any extra exist. The game wants me to get the Unmayker but I hear it's a bit shit and uses BFG ammo, so doing 5 slayer gates for an unsatisfying weapon seems dumb though, I do need to do them to get the more weapon upgrade points.

Played Skyrim Special Edition in trying to recreate the face of my first Skyrim character based on a save from 2013. Wanted to redo his adventures entirely. Also played some RDR 2 before rage quitting because whoever at Rockstar thought the portable camera should take its time in making a picture is an ass. I just wanted to snap a quick picture of a naked NPC for shits n giggles and somehow get jumped by a wolf and killed by it shortly after because Dead Eye was at a shit level and apparently I could not punch it for some reason. Not that it matters since I found out from reading the encounter that killing his wolves results in an honor loss and I'm doing all I can to avoid honor losses. Seriously, self-defense goes out the window because somehow shooting a wolf that attacks me is bad even though its owner was yards away.

Just finished up Marc Ecko's Getting Up Contents Under Pressure on the PS2. I really wanted to like this game more that I did. I like the premise, the setting and music but it kind of falls apart gameplay wise. Not sure if it could have used some more development time or if the devs just were not very good but janky is a good way to describe it. The climbing, combat and graffiti mechanics all have annoying things about them that make it a chore to play a lot of the time. A shame, it could have been so much better.

Now is a mix between finishing modded Skyrim, modded Oblivion and keep playing Morrowind. Probably in December i'm gonna play Tale of Two Wastelands again (a Fallout 3 with New Vegas in one playthrough mod).

Got back into Fallout 4. Got one of those mods that makes the Commonwealth more lush. It's actually really pretty. I will admit I cheated the last part of the Silver Shroud quest, because I wanted Kent to live. Right now I'm just kind of wandering about and doing some other quests before I go find Virgil. Stupidest death so far was a mini-nuke to the head that was, honestly, completely my fault, since I thought I could handle an enemy that was off in the distance... while not wearing any decent armor. Lo and behold, I could not. Killed me instantly. Also picked a fight with the Brotherhood of Steel after fighting some raiders, since there was a vertibird flying over the area and somehow I thought that was what Nick was aiming at, as he was aiming upwards. Turns out he was aiming at a raider I didn't even see for a bit.

Just beat DOOM Eternal. "Oh, 2016 wasn't so hard so I'm gonna play on Nightmare.", I should slap shit out of myself cause holy fuck that game kick my fucking teeth in. I played 2016 on HMP, what the fuck was I thinking?

Heavy Rain. Complete trashfire but for some reason I can't put it down. Reminds me of Deadly Premonition but with considerably less charm.

Played through both Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus. Both are still fantastic games to this day.

Now I'm playing Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath.
