What game did you finish today?

Metro: Last Light.
Now I've started the book it was based off of, Metro 2033 by Dmitry Glukhovsky and I'm enjoying it more than the game.

The scare factor in the game is pretty low, throughout the whole of the gameplay I only really got 1 "Jesus Christ! What the fuck was that!?" moment and by far the most satisfying thing in the game is taking out the human AI combatants, not the monsters. When you compare it to the likes of the Dead Space/Early Resident Evil series it really is a Babbys first horror/survival game. Don't get me wrong the storyline is pretty good but everything else was just ok.

Medal of Honor: Airborne. I beat it when I was in high school, and I just downloaded and beat it in about 2 days so I could remember the experience.

It certainly wasn't bad for the final AAA World War II game in the franchise. The weapon upgrading was an interesting idea, but I was ceaselessly annoyed by the ridiculous inaccuracy of the guns; I'd have the iron sights of my Thompson (a gun with an effective range in the triple digits) over the torso of someone less than 100 feet away, and my bullets would just veer to the side.

I did have one epic moment, though. The game lets you kick grenades back at enemies, but it just magically flings the grenade away from you instead of an actual kicking animation. During the last level, two enemies ran through a door, near-simultaneously threw grenades, and ran in different directions. I spammed the E key to kick both grenades back at the same time, and they both ricocheted off a nearby door frame in opposite directions and each took out a different Nazi.

Tonight I finished Demon's Souls. Killed off Old King Allant, then killed the real Allant (in some versions he is called "Wannabe Allant"). It was rather fun. Felt refreshing to play Demon's Souls after playing so much of Dark Souls.

Just 10 minutes ago, I beat Skyrim for the first time ever.

Then I deleted it from my hard drive and I will never touch it again. 450 hours is enough.

I finished that game two weeks ago, my only complain is that it made me feel dizzy after playing it, i literally couldn't tolerate see any kind of bright colours or fast animations after two days of finishing the game...

Faster than light

Decided to look up "games like oregon trail" after playing it on the stream and FTL was a highly rated suggestion. Played it and it's very addicting, lots of different combinations of shit to keep you playing through even after your crew burns to death for the 50th time.

You beat Normal with the Vortex? Damn, and I was proud of myself for beating Easy with the DA-SR 12.

10,000,000, a 3-Match game.

Beat the game with all achievements unlocked. AUGH YEAH

Beaten Silent Hill 1 with Good + ending.

Just beaten Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey.

That final boss was such a bitch to deal with. Took me at least four days to finally get a good set up going to beat her.

I finished the 2014 demo of CWC Adult Chronicles. Kinda disappointed in not being able to go to McDonalds. Even then, I don't mind. It is a fun demo.

If you are referring to Mem Aleph, I know what you mean. I couldn't beat her without using three basic monsters (Earthys, Melchom, and Jack Frost) that were literally resistant to M.A.'s attacks (they'd reflect it back to her).

I was finally able to beat her with Thor, Hachiman, and Amaterasu. Thor used Debilitate and Madness Crush,, Amaterasu used Luster Candy and healed, and Hachiman was just there because I needed a neutral demon to fill the slots. Also, he repelled ice. Meanwhile, I did most of the damage through using Moan Bullet. Made a pretty huge difference in the fight compared to previous attempts.

From what I've read, the Chaos final boss isn't quite as hard.

All I know is that they make Zelenin a final boss for Chaos players. Law and Neutral players share the same final boss which kinda sucks because if the "Law Hero" is a final boss, they should make Jimenez, the "Chaos Hero", a final boss for Law players. He has his own ultimate form (Soil Jimenez) if you were fighting for LAW except he acts like a boss for Neutral players, being another boss before the final boss.

Just beat Wolfenstein: The New Order on "I Am Death Incarnate" difficulty. Last boss was a bitch, mostly because it was one of those situations where they take everything you learn how to play thus far (essentially when you're playing on the upper difficulty, you HAVE to play strategically), and throws it out the window. Also, you know the phrase "the floor is now lava" from when you were a kid? Kinda like that except more of a "the floor the walls, and everything is on fire."

I may eventually replay on Uber difficulty, but I'm going back on easy to picks up any perks and miscellaneous I missed.

Beaten Persona 3 Portable after putting it off for a few months. Just had to finish up the second half of the last month and the final boss.

It was a very good game, but I kinda prefer Persona 4 overall. The final boss and credits theme were both pretty awesome though.

I beat Metal Gear Solid 2 yesterday.

I feel the trippy surreal part at the end could have been better incorporated. And Raiden wasn't that great of a character. I've actually heard he got better developed in later games.

Overall not as good as MGS1. I thought the V/R missions in the game were better than the main campaign.

An hour ago, I beaten Dragon's Dogma for a second time using the strider as my main class. As much as I thought I had to land the killing blow on the Seneshcal, the game didn't mind my pawn delivering the kill blow after grabbing the final boss. Needless to say, I'm glad that is over.

Conquered the world with the Dutch on Empire: Total War. Talk about from nobody to nightmare.
