What game do you wish Phil would play? - AKA best future TIHYDP material?

It's a shame Phil doesn't play 3DS games due to his nintendo hateboner, but Persona Q would have been true salt and confusion.

It's Etrian Odyssey (dungeon crawler with puzzle elements and touchscreen map that you need to keep track of) + Persona 3 and 4 cast. Plot was okay enough but overall kind of long-winded and annoying especially the latter dungeons.

First two dungeons are easy and straightforward (most difficult aspect being the low initial SP), but third dungeon onwards you really gotta keep track of the map and kind of think outside the box for certain events/triggers. Even with the chat it'll be difficult for them to actually point out where things are, and I guarantee he's gonna be staring at that fucking laptop screen watching a step-by-step youtube guide while he's playing it.
 
After replaying it these past months, something that frustrated me to no end back in the day: Forbidden Siren 1 (not the remake, the first original)

He would get so incredibly pissed at how the enemies don't stay dead and how fast you die to gunfire or the puzzle secondary objectives to get the true ending
 
Star Wars Dark Forces 2, for sure. The lengthy & confusing level design, the enemy damage output, boss fights, lots and lots of platforming & jumping puzzles will absolutely destroy him, it would honestly make for a great TIHYDP montage.

Can you imagine him showing up at someone's weekly board game night to play Monopoly? When you land on one of his properties he laughs and calls you a stupid asshole. And he's also the guy that that rolls his dice off the table every single turn.

I actually would love for Pigroach to give this game a whirl; shame he's such a cowardly baby he can't nut up to get a couple of people to play with him for it. I legit would watch that stream, and I haven't watched Pig in years.

Odd and long as it would be, I'd love to see him tackle a Sid Meier game. Civ would be a great one to show just how inept he is at interaction and management, but I'm seriously leaning towards Pirates because I think it would be hysterical to see him charge a battleship with a bad crew and blame the game when he inevitably gets mutinied.

A strategy game like Total War or Civ.Having to pay attention and learn what all the units and systems do and make plans would be too much for him.

I literally dont care what games phil plays. I have zero interest in him gaming, like at all. I have zero interest in lets players and twitch streamers at all. I dont enjoy watching people play video games at all. I found him originally for a review he did of a game and only knew of his vlogs channel for years lol. I mainly just watch his prestreams when the good shit comes out of his face hole. then i have snort and others to show me the rest.

I am curious if others feel this way?

If someone wants to entertain me I need this combination:
My hobby + Someone who is good at it (or entertaining while doing it)

One alone rarely works for me. So one of my hobbies is videogames, but Phil fails at being good or entertaining. Therefore I'm not looking forward to any game he will play, no matter what he picks it will be an awful experience, he ruins every game imaginable. Either he bores me to death or makes me raging mad, I don't like any of that.

He should play Russian Roulette, Singleplayer, 6 bullet challenge.
Just kidding. I just like that joke.

Agreed. If someone was genuinely incompetent at games (or, depending, just really out of their element with the type of game they're playing) but they have a warm personality and are entertaining, I can overlook a lot. It's funny because if Phil had the polar opposite sort of demeanor his streams really could be what he so often (falsely) advertises them as: just a relaxed few hours spent hanging out with people you get along with and having some laughs.

But Phil just isn't right for that. He's completely incapable of laughing at himself, and is even less tolerant of other people laughing at him, so those friendly bantz are right out. He refuses to play any game in a fashion approaching entertaining. Even if he raged once in a while it'd be something so long as it wasn't transparently fake and he was funny about it.

But he's none of those things. He's actually a very miserable person. You can tell his head is always on his pocketbook and he only perks up when people are throwing him cash. That's why no one gives a fuck about what he plays - he's more or less the same all the time. He's just Eeyore, only with a controller in his hand and a shitty goatee and more swearing.
