What game do you wish Phil would play? - AKA best future TIHYDP material?

Wouldn’t mind seeing him trying to play Worms: Armageddon. The game has a high learning curve and there are so many ways to fuck up it’s practically a game in of itself.

I've said World of Tanks before so I'll say World of Warships because of the addition of submarines. The Pigroach vs probably one of the most arrogant, incel weeb tryhard infested gaming communities in all of the internet that is Wargaming, it's the irresistible force meets the immovable object.

Trailer for Star Wars Squadrons just dropped what are the odds he'll be getting his shit pushed in due to laggy TIE fighter mechanics dood?

Super Metroid on the SNES.
He already did on Switch and it was boring as fuck. He played for 2 parts and gave up, died on his way to Kraid. I was formerly invested in this playthrough, started an TIHYDP (easy to find on YT) and just stopped midway. I couldn't handle this boring cringe clown.
Also he pronounces "Zebes" as "Zeeebs".

Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter
The amount of times he would scream 'Wasting my FUCKING TIME!!!' before rage-quitting would be pretty funny. The game is easy to beat on a first playthrough if you play slightly conservatively, it also has a built-in restart mechanic where you begin again with your better gear, stored items, and free party XP that you didn't spend. It's meant to reward you as you learn how to play the game as you can get in 'No win' scenarios if you run around like a buffoon with your thumb up your ass, but Phil never progresses beyond buffoon with thumb up his ass.

The game punishes you by making you start over if you run around like a buffoon with your thumb up your ass, so it would be pretty funny hearing Phil's 'I did nothing wrong'/'Nuthin I kuddo' meltdowns as to why he wasted all his resources and refused to play cautiously.

I've been playing a lot of Factorio recently. It's like minecraft, except instead of playing as a hippy punching trees you build a smog belching environmental catastrophe that annihilates the native inhabitants.

Think it would be interesting if Dave played it, see what his paypigs come up with for a factory/see Dave fail at placing belts and stuff when someone isn't directly telling him what to do.

I consider myself pretty good at most grand strategy, football manager and a few other niche nerd games and when I took one look at factorio i noped the fuck out. That shit looks too complicated for me and I'm far from a dunce.

DSP is a dunce. He would stop about 10 mins into the game, 8 of it reading cheers and 2 staring blankly at the screen going 'whadda I do?'

Speaking of grand strategy, while it is going to basically be Twitch plays Pokemon but with a middleman just like his Morrowind "playthrough", I'd LOVE to see him play Crusader Kings 2, one of the possible diseases characters can get and die from is gout and that's just one of the things that could happen to him in the game which would be hilarious.

It does get really complicated, especially when people start integrating signals and logic into their factories. But a new game starts out pretty simple, mine some coal, mine some iron, and you're on your way. The complexity builds up over time as you add onto your factory and have to start exploring for resources and doing bug control.

I would actually like to see him tackle a really simple, easy game, because, even though Phil obviously takes to a whole other level the act of fucking up on legit challenging games, they're still games ANYBODY can fuck up on. Like, I've yet to touch any of From Software's games, and I guarantee you that if I ever do, a blind no death run is NOT happening. I could do it after a few playthroughs, probably, but not the first. That would be ridiculous.

But sucking at Tetris? Pac-Man? Donkey Kong? THAT is where the real gold is when it comes to watching Phil. It's one thing for it to take an hour and a half for him to beat the Guardian Ape, it's quite another for him to take that long to get past Air Man.
