At this point I’ll take anything with some semblance of challenge. Yes he’s bad enough at games to get salty during Sonic but it’s not enough. I want playthroughs like Crash Team Racing and Zelda 2, is that so much to ask?
I'd like to see him play hollow knight, I've just finished my first playthrough and managed the full 112% it was not an easy ride but extremely rewarding.
What would make it funny is that the game doesn't haldhold you in the slightest so you need to explore and learn and that is everything modern DSP loathes
I'd love to see the pig play CS GO. I started playing it a couple of months ago and have really come to appreciate it. CSGO completely killed my excitement for MW2.
But fuck is it a brutal learning curve.

Fucking gold, about as bad as I thought. ONE of my first games in CSGO I completely flanked an enemy player and unloaded a full clip into him before he saw me, he turned to me and placed several shots and killed me. I was absolutely dumbfounded. Then I realized you can't really hold forward and shoot. Looks like Phil never realized this lol.

Literally the opposite of what he's supposed to do. This is so fucking painful to watch.
Also, i know DSP probably doesn't even give a shit about Pokemon nor any games like that, but it would be really funny to see him play some Digimon game expecting it to be like the Pokemon ones. In World he'd probably keep making care mistakes and not training, and wondering why he keeps getting bad monsters like Numemon.

I continue to hold out hope that we'll see him play chess one day. As a valedictorian and someone who claimed to be good at it in high school it should be right up his alley. The mechanics and rules are clear, there's little to no lag and no pesky boobs or romance to make him uncomfortable.

For the topic of chess, the only way he plays it is if the "silent majority" decides that he should, which isn't happening. On top of that, he probably feels like he needs to learn the game to a level where he won't just get bodied instantly, and at that point that's a chore for him.
Have you seen him play Catherine? He's terrified about the game because of the puzzle element, even though it's actually really easy. A lot of people wanted him to play it (the next one), but he refused for obvious reasons.
As for what would I like?
I've lost nearly all interest, because he will refuse to take an actual challenge; his default difficulty mentality can be boring, depending on the game; he tends to tank stuff instead of having some sort of finesse; he often gets handholded, which results in him getting OP; while he's trying to surpass a level/fight, it's just pain: "I couldn't see, dude the camera sucks", "(sigh + silence for 5 minutes)" "Yes! That's what I like to do, repeat the SAME boss over and over because of this cheap mechanic" type of complaints, until he ends it in the most anticlimactic way possible.
I can't even watch TIHYDP, I remember I tried to watch one of the Nioh 2 TIHYDP but I had to close it, it was just a bored man complaining.
I'm disappointed Civilization VI isn't on game pass. Civ VI would be a good excuse for him to be ExpertsydePhil on historical figures. Imagine if Phil equated Caeser's betrayal to Rambo and Howard "betraying" him.

Any 4X game would cause fatal levels of salt. DSP is stupid, disorganised, lazy and always rushes games.
Civ6 has a big problem with barbarians in the early game so he'd lose units cause he won't stop to heal, he also won't take the time to look for an advantange when dealing with the AI and he'd pick a civ and do the opposite of the intended play style.
Not to mention he'll bitch about howbit takes multiple turns for the good stuff and a wage/rage quit will be present if he manages to get a win condition rolling as civ6 is a game you can be the obvious winner yet still makes you wade through 100 turns of micromanagement

Haunting Ground. I know he'll hyper clown mode during the opening because of icky almost-naked woman, get the bad end because he'll screw up the reputation with Hewie, and absolutely miss the whole plot's theme.
There was this early 4x game I used to play in like 2004. I think it was called Home world or something close to that- It came on one of those old school shareware magazine discs. Space themed.
It was brutally hard late game to manage resources after a fairly smooth early game and I would love to see Phil start to feel good about himself on stream only to break down in rage like thirty minutes later lmao
Okay hear me out. Phil will never agree to this but Dark Anthology movie night mode with lolcows. I thought of this when null was playing that game with the Sargoyles. So we got Null, DSP, and I'm thinking Wings. There was 5 playable characters in Man of Medan. That's the only one I played but I'm assuming it's like that for the other games. We need 2 more cows and they need to play on hard. I want to hear those fat idiots complain, "WTF! I hit the button and he didn't do anything!" while Null groans in pained frustration.
Rimworld. Imagine the crazy shit that could come out of him accidentally picking a bunch of anemic lesbians with bloodlust and losing his mind trying to figure out literally anything. Half of the fun of playing (and 100% of the fun watching someone else play) Rimworld is failing in hilarious ways. and Phil's incompetence would just kick everything up a notch.
