Game is a lot of fun, it’s not really too difficult (the base game at least), and has loss and loads of replayability. It’s still my go to on 3DS. There are people who essentially make entire careers of playing this game (NorthernLion, TearofGrace, etc.) and do fairy well for themselves.

I'm not too big on Isaac but i used to watch a lot of NL when he did it because he talked shit the whole time. "Hey there was that time x happened" and he just tells a story that goes for 20 mins while he is playing. Day9 does it heaps too.

Dave cant do that. He relies on chat being the catslyst for discussion with 25 bits asking him about his life, usually about food.

I want to see Phil play DCS A-10C. That flight sim is a nightmare to fully grasp, especially if you don't have HOTAS controllers and TrackIR set up. It'd be hilarious if he got persuaded into spending $300~600 on said accessories (double points if he gets the Thrustmaster Warthog set) and then ragequit at not being able to understand the controls.

Anything that involves controlling a vehicle, phil will seamlessly fail at. Every time he drove a car in Scarface he would crash at least once, but when he fucked up and drove in reverse at the opposite lane, he didn't crash at all for that 5 minutes.

When he played HAWX he couldn't actually do turns for the first 20 minutes of the game, he probably wouldn't even make it past the installation phase of something like DCS.

I've said it before, but playing Ace Combat 4, 5, or 0 in preparation for AC7 release would be top tier saltfest. None of these games have checkpoints mid-mission, so if you die or fail a mission you have to start from the very beginning of that chapter. Only AC4 lets you re-supply your payload every mission. AC5 has none, and AC0 has around two, meaning if phil goes around wasting missiles he will be stuck using the cannons toward the end, which require you to have more precision and flight control.

AC0 has three paths featuring different enemy squadrons. If you only take down mission required targets in green, you get less money but face easier ace squadrons. If you destroy everything, you get more money but face harder ace squadrons. Phil will destroy everything and be stuck fighting Rot, Schwarze, and Sorcerer squadrons.

The final chapters of all AC games feature long narrow corridors that you need to have a really fine control/finesse for, so they will definitely be the ragequit points.

Part of me would love to see Phil attempt the Legacy of Kain series, or just Soul Reaver: constant cutscenes, lots and lots of talking and big words, no hot babes to look at (I don't count Ariel, 'cause she's dead), the shifting mechanic, constant HP drain before you get the Reaver itself (which doesn't happen until 3 boss fights in), and BOX PUZZLES. I'd love to see him try to wrap his little pigroach brain around it and then give up during the long slog of the Silenced Cathedral.

Eh, I'd love it (especially if he did the other spin offs like Amazon Trail and the Carmen Sandiego typing game) if it was the Pigroach of around 2-4 or so years ago; modern Pig is too desperate to protect his bloated ego by avoiding hard games since he trapped himself in his own hell.

And let's be honest, for something like Oregon Trail, chat would min-max him right off the bat. Only chance for anything remotely interesting would be RNG and incompetence at things like hunting.

Yeah, I've played the Ace Combat games myself. If/when he plays AC7, I would not even be surprised if he was too stupid to realize that you need to switch from the novice to the expert flight controls to get the most out of the game.

He hasn't done any Let's Plays of Ace Combat games, so he wouldn't know what to expect from the controls. Since AC7 labels the novice controls as "standard control" instead of "novice control" in the menu options (as evidenced by the TGS demo), it wouldn't be unreasonable to think he'd use it by default if/when he plays the game. He wouldn't be the only newcomer that does this, but it would highlight his incompetence that much further.

This is a taste of what we might be seeing from him.

He's actually already tried The Binding of Isaac. But not much. He played it for a couple of videos in some indie marathon, and it was literally just him blundering through the game saying "What?/Huh?/Uhh...", being confused, and commenting on how unapologetically morbid the game gets.

Doubt he's going to go back to it. But then again, I said the same thing about Ace Attorney, which he's apparently returning to, with Trials and Tribulations (can't wait for him to rush through that game with zero clue on what is even happening since it's been about six years since he played the original), so who knows.

Personally, I would love to see Phil bumble through Organ Trail. It’s an Oregon Trail reboot involving zombies and traveling to a safe zone before the government drops a nuke the east coast. It’s a fun game but it involves time management and making the best out of the small inventory you have. If you haven’t played it I highly recommend it!
