More bloody steak.

Dammit, now I want some steak...

My sister and I made this vegetable cheese dip type of thing, with kale, spinach and brussel sprouts with meats in melted cheese and cream cheese; It had three cloves of garlic in it minced, and Ive been washing my hands ever since but every time I bring my hand to my face, it still smells like Ive been fingerbanging Rachel Ray.

That sounds delicious though.

You're all grrrrrrrreat. :feels:

Tonight, I'm making chili con carne. Gonna grind my own meat, use all colors of bell pepper, some Hatch and Serrano, lots of tomato, shallot, garlic, and onion, some celery, black, and I'm thinking also some kidney beans. Cumin, chili powder, and onion powder, as well. Can't forget that good ole chicken stock.

I like to put in some fish sauce at the end to add depth and richness, and then I garnish with like some cheese and sour cream and chives, and serve over rice, baked potatoes, or just as is.

I have a burger recipe I just call the "inhuman scream", do to it being born from me throwing shit into a overheated pan, though I eventually refined it to just keeping the whole carmelized onions and lemon thing.
It's a thick whole beef patty cooked in a pan with a pinch of butter and a hearty dose of onion slice, squirted with juice from a lemon wedge, put between to toasted slices of whole-wheat bread with some brie cheese, tomatoes, romaine lettuce, grey poupon, and served on a plate with a small dish of ketchup for dipping. I personally like to keep the lemon around to toss into a glass of cold water on the side.

I wouldn't recommend fries, since I honestly think eating potatoes after chowin down on whole wheat is a bit off and overbearing. Also, you can get your dipping action on with the burger itself and the ketchup dish.

Goddamn.

Dinner tonight was easy (read: lazy) and delicious: homemade hot pockets. I take ham, cheese, and broccoli, and fold them up in crescent roll dough. You could put whatever else you like in there, if you have dietary restrictions. Good stuff, takes about 15 minutes from start to finish.

Chow mein noodles boiled in shrimp stock, sirloin marinated with onion, soy sauce, lemon juice, pepper, and bean sprouts, broccoli, and bell peppers sautéed with garlic, shallots, fish sauce, and red pepper flakes.

When everything's pretty much done, combine it all (preferably in a wok...I need to buy another one) and stir fry it in sesame oil. Fold in a sauce made of soy sauce, cayenne, pepper, more fish sauce, lime, honey, garlic, ginger, and B A M!!!

Look what I decided to cook guys! It’s ramen but cooler! This is what you do when you are a broke as fuck college student, you learn to fucking cook because you’re a fucking adult.

And dammit, it’s actually quite delicious!

And believe me, I decided to just come up with this on my own.
Oooooohhh...that looks good!!!
And with a nice orange Fanta, to boot.:tomgirl:

Hmm, last thing I made was some szechuan chicken. Before that, some lasagna and before that a pizza. I make everything from scratch to keep my weight down so takes time to cook everything. Prep time to make three lasagna's alone is over an hour, than an hour to bake in the oven. Luckily frying up some chicken or making a pizza doesn't take long.

So I left it up to whatever meat Aldi had marked down because it was near the sell-by date. My go-to way to pass the buck on choosing something for dinner.
$2 off pork rib racks. So I got a rack of ribs, a bottle of honey bbq sauce, and tossed in the mostly-full jar of salsa from the fridge and thinned the whole mess out with water until it cover the ribs, then I baked the shit out of them open-top in the oven.

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay good
