CHICKEN WITH PEPPER AND MUSTARD SEASONING

The store had a 3 dollar canned bubble tea on clearance for 80 cents. Well, I understand why. The flavor is good, but the bubble boba feels EXACTLY like little bits of Saran wrap and sticks to your teeth. I guess because it has to be stable enough to not disintegrate inside the can.

fun fact: Do you feel like Saran wrap/plastic wrap/cling wrap isn't as clingy as it was when you were younger? You're right! They had to change what it's made from because it was toxic I guess in the early 2000s and prior. And it's never been the same.

nissin raoh tonkotsu w/ chili oil, sesame oil, and furikake
a tasty lazy supper

I made the mistake of going to the grocery store hungry and walked out with this. Before I even get to the fucking BLM marketing associated with the product, lets discuss the taste.
You have to admit there's some fairly hilarious irony in a megacorporation "supporting" BLM by selling them food that will kill them a decade or so younger.

I rarely eat breakfast during work days. But today, I had a Belgian waffle with a fried chicken leg.

Made a sammitch for lunch.

Turkey, pepperjack cheese, romaine lettuce, tomato, cucumber slices, pepperoncinis and light mayo on rye with a Sprite

I just had a McDonalds steak egg and cheese bagel with some added black garlic hot sauce and it propelled it to a 10/10 breakfast sandwich. The caramelized onions were perfect, just the right amount of butter sauce... they even remembered to season the meat.
I'm going to be chasing this dragon for years.

Speaking of pickled cabbage things, kimchi is pretty awesome too.

It may sound insane, but kimchi fried rice with Spam topped with eggs is really good.

It is in fact a pickled cabbage with (super) salted meat. But the eggs on top make it. Funny how all cultures come up with variants of the same thing, like in the Midwest you can find the breaded tenderloin, and in Japan, they have katsu, and Germans have Wienerschnitzel, all basically a piece of meat smashed all to shit, breaded, and fried.

had cooked some bacon for future blts, had bacon grease leftover in the air fryer,
reheated some fries from really good hot dog etc joint near me
air fryers are really great if you're only cooking for a person or two, they can achieve miracles like reheating french fries
