What have you recently eaten?

A plate of chicken nuggets and a small dish of equal parts ketchup and ranch for dipping. Was actually a really good snack, and the two sauces combined is nice. The sourness of the ranch offsets the sweetness of the ketchup, and the tartness of the ketchup makes the richness of the ranch less overpowering.

I have no idea what to call the dish. It's about the size and shape of a rectangular soap holder, but too deep and without any holes or ridges on the bottom. I use it to hold dipping sauces, seasonings, and small microwaveables.

I tried nachos and jalapenos for the first time at a bar not that far away from my home

I broke my fast with lunch. I had chicken breast, paprika and parmesan potatoes, garlic kale and some cucumber and red cabbage with a lemon mayo dressing. I wanted to make a slaw with raw broccoli but I didn't have any. It was good though :)

The discount grocer I shop at has had the Kerrygold Dubliner cheese at a nice price ( I saw it for 7 dollars at the Kroger, I got it for about half that). It's a really nice cheese, tastes like a full-bodied cheddar with a slight kind of grassy sweetness. I'd recommend trying some if you're into cheese.
Tried blue cheese for the first time recently after being squeamish about it for years. Actually very nice
I fucking LOVE blue cheese. It's a slippery slope once you start craving it. If you feel you're ready for it, try Roquefort. It's so blue it's green - intensely salty and piquant. It's not cheap. But it's called the king of cheeses for a reason.

Personally I'd go with Blue Stilton, but Roquefort is good enough it's a matter of taste. It's also the best for a salad dressing (if you can justify using it for anything other than just eating it).

Gorgonzola is also awesome.

I just had McDonalds for the first time in like a decade. I took my niece there after her doctor's thing.

I had some chicken nuggies but damn....they were tiny. So thin and 90% breading. WTF happened to McDicks? Even my niece's cheeseburger was tiny little patty and mostly bun. To make it worse it cost $6 bucks.

How the mighty have fallen...

If your local Taco Bell still has the nuggers, they're about the same price but MUCH better. Not gonna pretend they're amazing or anything but with the Hidden Valley Fire sauce that comes with it they're breddy good. I barely get anything from McDick's anymore except coffee and the occasional Filet o Fish.

Pasta with sliced sundried tomatoes and hard salami. I made a "carbonara" sauce, so just pasta water and egg, added some basil, garlic, nooch, red pepper, parm. Easy dinner.

we went with the boys to the restaurant and i got myself a pork steak that literally melting on my tongue
like holy shit it was great
there were also bbq wings that we took with the beer but i realized that i'm not a big fan of sweet sauces, they were still really good though

It's just bread with taste at this point. Everything is so pricy. Double cheesburger has about the same amount of meat regular hamburgers had. Ice creams have a hole in the inside. Nuggets also turned out to be rubbery like chewing gum. It's just expensive trash.
