What have you recently eaten?

Had deer meat yesterday and earlier today. Yesterday, after getting my dad home from the hospital, he prepared some deer he had hunted. Eating the doe he had shot, I can see deer meat as one of the better kinds of meat. It went well with the mushroom gravy he prepared.

I’m in Paris right now and had a croque poulet for lunch today. It was delicious, though admittedly I didn’t care for the bread it came on. I also tried some warm goat cheese, which was great too.

One of the takeout restaurants near me makes these fucking ambrosial french fries that come tossed in a butter garlic sauce, had to get me some of that recently paired with one of their crispy chicken sandwiches drenched in buffalo-ranch sauce and a refreshing as fuck Cherry Pepsi.

Today, I've eaten a 16oz ribeye and drunk 2-1/2 pots pf coffee.

Did pretty much the same thing yesterday, only I woke up hungry and ate a couple of hard-boiled eggs, and drank a sugar-free Monster energy drink in lieu of morning coffee because I slept late.

I'm a savage, and give no fucks.

All I had today was some leftover pasta salad. A very, very blessed thing happened today regarding my mother, so me and my family will be celebrating by having Fettuccine with chopped tomatoes, chicken, and wine sauce on top. We'll be having brownie sundaes too! :feels::feels::feels:

Went on a food tour yesterday, tried a bunch of different cheeses and meats including duck and rabbit. The latter in particular was really good.

Just a bunch of reheated via oven chicken parm; it's the newest common item in my diet besides slow cooked steak in gravy.

Still good tho.

Homemade cranberry sauce. I want to eat Cranberry sauce every day.

Saw some round tube pasta things at the store and decided to try them out. Filled them with cooked ground beef and topped them with tomato sauce and cheese, like the picture on the box of pasta, and stuck it in the oven. It's pretty much a basic lasagna.

For next time, I'm thinking about layering the tube things and add some vegetables inbetween; but I also think it would all just fall apart when I scoop it out of the casserole dish.

Except with a spoon because I'm classy like that. Also known as canine torture.

A slice of toast topped with homemade rhubarb jam, with a whole dried ghost pepper chopped into flakes and mixed into the jam.

edit to avoid double posting: elbow macaroni with two chopped Roma tomatoes, a few tablespoons of chopped onion, shredded cheddar, Italian seasoning, a chopped dried ghost pepper, a chopped fresh habanero, a few squirts of carolina reaper paste, and a generous sprinkling of carolina reaper powder. (I was going to use some leftover pasta sauce, but it was moldy, so I made do. *sigh*)
