What have you recently eaten?

A couple of those filled Crispy Cream donuts. They're interesting. Sorta halfway between a twinkie and a donut. Can't pound them down like plain glazed though.

I've been living off of stir fry for the past month. Honey, Portobello mushrooms, those weird thin noodles you get at stores, soy sauce, various vegetables. That and grain alcohol.
 
Made a T-bone steak I seasoned more than normal (basically added red pepper to my salt+pepper+garlic mix) and some proper fries. Turned out my potatoes were just bad, since the skins were good on these ones.

Also decided to say fuck it and use my sodastream that I got for Christmas a few years ago; it still works perfectly despite me not using it for about 3 years now. The syrup doesn't taste too different either, maybe at most slightly expired.

Wawa hoagie and a four-pack of PBR tallboys.
A little light on the sammich fillings. Disappointed. Not enough to dissuade me from the Wawa brand yet, but not something I'm going to forget quick.
Cheesesteak, pepper jack for the cheese, cherry pepper jelly, spinach, onions, good but could have used more like the fillings I'm used to.
 
Chinese take out. Got a gift card from the local buffet from work, went by, sushi was kinda ass for a buck a piece, but not so bad if I ate in.
Got a pound and change of General Tsos and some sort of beef for about six bucks, still have enough left on the card to cover a buffet trip and maybe a beer, but if I go back for the buffet I'll definitely get beer there, this is a "make sure you have some alcohol" grade buffet-ing.
 
Split pea soup, with crusty bread. Chocolate eclair, to celebrate Bastille Day. Washed down with a noice cup of tea.
 
Gave Wawa another chance, pbr tallboys and a hoagie again
tonight chicken salad, onions, pepper jellly, sweet peppers, red peppers, cheddar cheese
decent about of filling this time, nothing overflowing but not some cheap shit like the other day

I'm a sick weirdo that likes going for their Cheesesteaks that I make pretty close to Philly standard, just with that garlic aeoli. I do this because they somehow keep making onions disgusting and I don't know how they fuck that up, so better an onion substitute I like than that shit. It's not too bad either.

Also their weird big nuggets are pretty nice if overpriced.

Yeah I've rarely been disappointed by them, regardless of location.
Not the best 24 hour gas station sammich I've had, though.
Used to work up the road from some rando gas station that was also a Boar's Head deli for sandwiches, like "break out the big piece of meat and fresh slice it" levels of shit, even at 4 am. Also had pretty good creepy water footlongs with red onion sludge, beer like any respectible gas station, and a lot of drug paraphernalia, everything from "flower in a 'glass tube'" to large bongs.
