What have you recently eaten?

Some very dank danishes from Costco bakery. Cheese flavor and apple flavor.

Double decker ham, soppressata, marble cheese...Oh my God! so delicious made a second one up. My shits when they came will be legendary...lots of coke, Dr. Pepper, and whisky in the mix

I had "Bo Kho" which I learned is Vietnamese style beef stew. It was excellent. Much more substantial than pho with a rich fatty beef (like traditional beef stew) flavor with hints of lemongrass and big hunks of carrot, some sort of root veggie like a potato, and then beef mixed in with soft rice noodles. It wasn't spicy so I added some jalapeno slices and that was delicious especially with a bite of the beef.

Wasn't really expecting much from the place so glad it worked out kinda was a typical run down casual Vietnamese spot of which we have a lot here.

Spread of takeout from a spanish grocery, pork, goat, rice and gandules, a pastel, and some flan.
Good stuff, better than that other goat.

Enchiladas in a stack instead of rolled - like this (I used a can of tomatoes in addition, and cooked the sauce for an additional 2 hrs before assembling):

You really can't serve these on a plate, it looks like a 50s sci-fi monster, best to serve it in the pan like the video maker does (although my pan is too large for one person ;_; ).

Open topped kimchi/fried chicken sandwich made with my homemade sourdough bread, homemade fried chicken, and the first batch of my homemade kimchi, with some of my secret burger sauce drizzled atop it*

Holy fucking shit Kimchi is officially my newest favourite food and I am going to put it on absolutely fucking everything, no matter how uninhabitable it renders the air around me

*tablespoon full fat mayo, half tablespoon ketchup, quarter tablespoon yellow mustard, teaspoon sweet onion or mango chutney, glug of worchestershire sauce, a pinch of salt and a pinch of smoked paprika, and as much chipotle hot sauce as you desire. Serve with anything vaguely meaty
