What have you recently eaten?

I was tapping into my German ancestry and made a tiger meat sandwich. Yes, that's raw beef.

If you're going to eat that, good job grinding it yourself, I assume from a single cut of beef. I wouldn't do this with grocery store ground beef. I usually don't eat raw beef but I sometimes like a medium-rare burger so I sous vide it at a lower temperature for longer. You can even do it rare at 130F but it takes two hours to be definitely safe.

I bought a top round from a grocery store then used a food processor.

Got some delicious Portuguese chocolate croissants for a special occasion! I'm not the biggest fan of Portuguese cuisine but their pastries are very good. And filling.

Just threw some honey roasted peanuts in creamy peanut butter, gf is going to make some steak and a baked potato right now

I mixed matcha powder and these cocao camu camu nibs into some strawberry skyr. It tasted like spring.

I've hit the age of "actually prefer cooking at home to take-out" and "planning to have food delivered friday evening always ends up disappointing".

I opted to buy some microwave shit today but man, even that wasn't remotely worth it.
