What have you recently eaten?

A cuban sandwich from an Italian restaurant that themes all their menu items around (in)famous mob gangsters, which I thought was a damn unusual choice for a random daily special since, as far as I'm aware, Cubans and Italians don't really have much in the way of shared cooking or culture. They called it a Tony Montana to keep with their gangster theme though, at least. And it was a damn fine sandwich, with a pinto bean and bacon soup for a side.

Tragically, they were out of spumoni, so no dessert, which broke my heart.

Cheese board, garlic butter baguette and french wine.

I suddenly felt the urge to lose a war and convert my entire country to islam, probably unrelated.

Ended up going for tonkotsu.

Today: Protein shake, an apple, two slices of New York style meat lovers pizza, two bags of popcorn, a half package of bacon, pot of coffee with maple syrup and cream, gallon of water, bag of trail mix, a frozen steak, some mack and cheese, and a bloody mary.

If I lose any more weight, I should get checked out. Digging ditches and walking to work shouldn't result in my bones starting to show again. I might have a worm.

Trying out a baking steel with a pizza (I'm so fuckin' original), tom+mozz+pecorino and saucisson sec slices with roquefort inside, which infused the rest with just enough of the roquefort taste to have an amazing effect.

Had a slice of bacon and sausage breakfast pizza this morning. From a gas station. I genuinely believe this chain of gas stations makes the best breakfast pizza in the entire world. I've had so many hundred of slices over the years, that I dont get it very often anymore, but man when the craving hits it's fucking firemost.

The Ore Ida fries that have a kind of breading like old school Burger King fries. I could eat them breakfast, lunch, & dinner.

I ate some mcdoubles today and they had all this weird shit all over em that I don't think was supposed to be there.

I tried both of Coke's Christmas-themed sodas this week. Cinnamon Coke is nothing special since, especially after trying it, I suddenly realized that regular Coke feels like it already has cinnamon in it and this just boosts that part of the flavoring. Winter Spiced Cranberry Sprite is a complete one-eighty in terms of rating, the cranberry flavoring isn't overpowering and the other spices (One I know I can taste is ginger) compliment the paring perfectly. As one publication wrote the soda tastes like a mixture of Sprite, ginger ale, cranberry, and crushed Christmas ornaments.

I also had this weird brand (Uncle Willie's I think?) of popcorn that makes microwavable white cheddar popcorn, it's pretty good.
