This subject actually deserves some serious discussion, since it comes up as an aside in almost every thread about Chris.

But this is a really shitty way to introduce the topic.

If Borb were to force him into therapy when he was younger, then he maybe he could overcome it. However, I believe Chris is far past the point of outgrowing autism. At this point, it's all he knows.

Oh this is easy to answer. If Chris was obsessed with Garfield, all his classmates would say "Garfield is dead" and he'd try to throw himself down stairs to kill himself.
