Containment What If?

Realistically the Chus are too fucking stupid to survive in an actually Pokemon world.

Someone had made an image of what would have happened to the chus in the real world. It had Wild being killed by a coconut and Punchy fighting a cockerel in South East Asia. I can't seem to find it now...

Chris would probably wonder why the store can't get any more merchandise when he takes home gratiutious amounts of toys for "free".

1) He shows up late for the first day of running the shop. Closes half and hour later when someone julayfags him. Crashes into slumber, still closed the next day.
2) After half-heartedly running the shop when he felt like it, the first months invoices and bills show up; they get lost amongst the growing mounds of fast food bags and clutter.
3) Between the rampant shoplifting and the failure to mind the till, he is losing both inventory and cash.
4) One day, he forgets to lock the door, and the place gets ransacked overnight.
5) The day after, the electric and/or heat is shut off.
6) The day after that, angry vendors begin leaving messages on his phone demanding payment for unpaid invoices.
7) Bankruptcy followed by sheriff sale.
8) Snyder buys the place for cheap. Only costing him extra for fumigation and cleanup.
9) Snyder immediately implements a lifetime ban on Chris.

He wouldn't let anyone in, out of fear they are all trolls.
He would then wonder how to make money because he has no idea how business works.

Whoever was second in command would quickly realize that Chris was useless, but he is also quite gullible. Quite quickly Chris would lose whatever influence he eventually started with, and become owner in name only.

The business would carry on as before.

Re: What if Anna had ulterior motives for being Chris's Frie

Eh, I really just think she feels morally superior and honestly thinks she's helping Chris by doing what she's doing. She probably believes Chris' stories about Megan and Snyder because she thinks that's what a friend is supposed to do.

I dunno, as a former target of Chris's dumbfuckery herself, I have a lot of difficulty believing the line that Anna just honestly believes Chris's BS about Megan and Snyder. I think she makes a conscious decision to throw all those people under the bus in order for her to do whatever it is she thinks she's accomplishing with Chris.

We know Chris hated "that Spaz" Harry Potter because it took the limelight away from Pokémon. But what if he actually liked it? Not necessarily replacing his love for Pokémon, but complementing it. How would that show up in his daily life? Or in Sonichu? I'm having a hard time seeing how it could fit, since there already was an Anchuent Prophecy, which is pretty magical, but what if he tried to put those elements in? Would Chris-Chan Sonichu be replaced with a wand and an owl? Would Magi-Chan teach at Hogwarts on the side? Would Voldemort be helping out Giovanni and Robotnik to create Blake/Black Sonichu? It's a given he probably doesn't understand the real message of Harry Potter/the themes of love and selflessness and would probably interpret it to mean something so bizarre, I couldn't even think of it.

I could see the destruction of the trolls coming along a lot easier if he actually had magic. Of course that would deprive us of the fantastic "Revive Zordon," so it's a mixed bag. Not to mention the HP series has love potions, and I'd be surprised if it didn't make an appearance in the comics somewhere (it'd be a perfect excuse for why all his sweethearts left him, because the dang, dirty trolls fed them love potion!)

I could imagine him flailing around his room, screaming AVADA KEDAVRA rather than CURSE-YE-HA-ME-HA (or Ericcus trollisus ericcus bustisus!) He might try to get some of the merchandise (if not a TRUE and HONEST wand, then maybe something like a scarf. Or he could interpret the whole series in his usual autistic way and wear a tie with his blazer when he wanted to be fancy.)

What do you guys think?

CWCville would be totally different, Sonchu would be a spray-painted light blue 1961-64 Rambler American since that is a cheap car, is "close enough" to Ron Weasley's Ford Anglia (and would stand up great to Chris and Barb's brand of "maintenance", so would still exist today), Chris would fantasize about going to Hogwarts instead of Pallet Town, Celadon City, Viridian City, etc., he would stick one of those vibrating toy Quidditch brooms up his ass, Sonic, HP and Pokemon would not peacefully coexist, and Chris may have become Wiccan or Northern Heathen under influence of Harry Potter when he moved back to Ruckersville and left the Korean Baptist church behind.

American teens go through a lot of changes and also arguably the most stressful point in their lives. Most parents argue against their teens about their school performance and get them to think about their future after high school whether they are good or not. I'm sure most of us have been through that stage. Most of us know that Chris's parents didn't argue much against him during his teens so I was wondering what if his parents gave him some "tough love" like "You live in my house and I pay for your needs so I expect you to do well in school!" and other things like that? You think they could change Chris's life even by a tiny degree? Not to mention the support from his high school's special ed teachers along with the support of his parents could help him to make a better person if Chris's parents gave him some "tough love". So if his parents pushed him to be a better person during his teens, would that make him a different person today?

Re: What if Chris's parents gave him "tough love" in his tee

Google "Tiger Mom". That along with the "asylum" Bob relocated to Richmond to get away from, is the only way Chris-chan would have had even one iota of potential.

Re: What if Chris's parents gave him "tough love" in his tee

I'm Asian and even though my parents are pushy, they're nowhere as strict as Tiger Mom because she's ridiculous even by our standards.

Re: What if Chris's parents gave him "tough love" in his tee

They should have started a lot sooner than teenage.

Then it should make a huge difference on his development then. But they never did.

he would have been mad at pokemon for stealing the limelight from it

He would make the "My Immortal" comics instead of sonichu, or at the least a comic of similar quality.

Ah! That wonderful crazy American tradition after Thanksgiving where customers line up at their local malls and chain stores for the biggest sales in the years ever. When the store opens, customers trample their way into the warm insides of the stores to escape the harsh cold night outside that they had to bear with. Most customers buy their gifts to wrap up for Christmas. I personally don't like Black Friday because of the unnecessary burdens of staying out in the night just for some sales from your favorite store but something got me thinking. What would happen if Chris participated in the Black Friday sales? My prediction tells me that he'll be buying plenty of vidya at least from his local Wal-Mart or Best Buy provided that his tugboat isn't all dried up. And maybe some Legos too as children cry about how the greedy manchild takes their favorite toys before their parents even have the time to buy the toys. So, what else would Chris buy? What else would happen to him on Black Friday? Or better yet, how would he handle the stress of waiting out in the freezing cold for some early Christmas present? What would you guys say would happen to him? Discuss.
