I disagree. What makes Chris's comic so shitty -and made him such a perfect target for trolls- is that he is unsympathetic. Lots of his material is wish fulfillment of childish grudges.

Were Chris a kindly slow kid with an imaginary friend, most trolling would have never happened in the first place. His comic would be uninteresting and derivative, but he'd just make it for himself and maybe have a following of little kids who enjoyed his simple stories and didn't really care about the art -a yellow sonic who shoots lightning and is fast as lightning is good enough for a five-year-old.

Who knows? Maybe if he weren't so proud, he'd have studied art for real and his comic would not be shit!
