Containment What If?

What if Chris had a real girlfriend/wife and a real child?

Hear me out.

What if, post Barb, Chris found a reasonable home, started acting "somewhat normal" and actually found himself someone who wasn't too choosy.

Is that even possible? Could losing Barb, having some actual freedom, and finding (not likely) someone change him?

The people who give chris money will go so far out of their fucking way to make sure chris doesn't improve himself that it isn't funny

What if Chris became a hitman?
First he’d have to procure a gun, of which his various mental disorders and criminal record would make him ineligible to purchase one legally. If he went the black market route, he’d probably get shot himself either trying to haggle the dealer down or making the transaction too high profile and risky to the point where he’d be shot out of practicality.

Then if he managed to actually get a cheap SNS or an old, second-hand snubnose and somehow figure out which ammunition he‘d need, he’d end up posting on Twitter, Facebook, Craigslist, etc soliciting his services. He’d interrupt Twitter conversations to ask people if they have any JERKS they want dead. Cue a SWAT team being sent to 14BC court and Chris actually getting a prison sentence.

Chris would probably not understand how to safely use, store, and clean the gun, and would end up shooting his own nads off. It is fated and destined.
Or his delusions worsen to the point where he believes his Megatron pistol is an actual firearm. There was actually some controversy surrounding them back in 84’: They weren’t manufactured with that little orange cap for the first production wave and parents were worried that it would predispose their children towards gun violence.
