Oh also people who will vote in the Presidential election, but not the ones that actually mean anything that actually affects them, like state senate or town board.
The number of times I've heard people complain about our corrupt county Exec (He takes bribes from the Hasidics and they in return vote for him in a Bloc, and then he rubber stamps all their zoning proposals and doctored environmental impacts and such) when he regularly wins by only triple digit votes is INFURIATING.
Oh and lastly, and only a few people who will get why, people who try to program everything in javascript.

As an American, it pisses me off when Brits on the internet act like all Americans are so stupid and act like we did terrible things to other countries. While I certainly don't deny latter, bitch please. People didn't say "The sun never sets on the British empire" because it sounded cool. You guys literally colonized half the world. I've seen a lot of Brits trash America while acting like their shit doesn't stink which is hilarious, considering that a lot of the problems in America aren't totally alien in the U.K. Like obesity, islamphobia, racism and classism. The list goes on. Canadians and people from other nations can get rather smug as well, but they never get to the levels of holier than thou than some Brits get. I know every Brit isn't like this but to the ones that are, I have this to say to you: Shut the fuck up, britbong.

I have to second this. For a country that's in vogue to hate, we sure seem to have done far less damage than previous world leaders. (Less, not none... I'm looking at you, CIA)
I always hear, "Oh, America is imperialistic!" To all the special sunshines who think the US is imperialistic, just read up about British Imperialism. Hell, British trading companies owned entire swaths of the Indies.
This stuff is actually still within living memory for lots of people. The English had an empire like this up until the late 20th century.
America may have had imperialistic inclinations at one point, but those times are dead- and we never compared to empires like the Romans or British.
