What makes you angry?

Reverends play it in their basement?

Reverends play jazz and nothing bad happens.

It irritates me sometimes when I post a high-effort reply and it doesn't get much attention, and then I make a post that is one sentence that gets tens of positive ratings. But putting more than ten minutes of my time into a message board post is autistic anyway, so really I should stop doing that.

Seriously though people with dumb beliefs who are unwilling to have them challenged in any way bother me the most. Opposing opinions don't bother me if the person who holds them is willing to debate them maturely. My family says this makes me argumentative. They're probably right, honestly.

Condescension also makes me angry even though I know it's something I should just shrug off. I used to be patronized a lot, and of course it still happens occasionally because that's how life is. Sometimes I think I tend to see it even when it isn't there.

Facebook comments piss me off, especially if it's people telling others that they are stupid for not living up to their standards of success.

Willful ignorance just pisses me off. To use a metaphor, or a simile or whatever, life can be kind of like Science. When the facts don't fit the theory, you don't change the facts you change the theory. But the people that are willfully ignorant, they just ignore things they don't like or don't agree with no matter how true or factual the new information is.

It's one of the few things that makes me angry that I'm not really ashamed to be angry about. It's probably a waste since stupid motherfuckers will just keep being stupid but it's just how I am. We live in what should be a very educated country but Americans are among some of the most willfully ignorant people out there.

People who generally have unpleasant attitudes towards everyone and then whine that they have little to no friends. I went on a Disney trip in high school with a girl like that, it just really killed my mood.

People who won't confront you to your face, but will bitch about you to other people. I had a manager who would never tell me when he didn't like something I did, I would always hear about it from some other employee he would complain to. That kind of crap makes me rage so hard.

Angry "customers" that have had some sort of bad experience with a retail establishment and think it's appropriate to cause a scene and blow out the lines on anyone that happens to be employed there, even if the specific person they engage clearly had nothing to do with the problem. I really don't understand what the fuck makes people think it's okay to do shit like this. As someone that's both seen and experienced it, you aren't accomplishing anything at all, you're just making a random person's shitty, thankless job even shittier and to everyone watching, you're also making yourself look like a trashy bully that's trying to pick on someone that can't, and obviously won't, fight back.

I'm sure you guys know what I'm talking about, but I'll regale you all with a story of something that happened to me last month to help accentuate; I was in a Sprint store to upgrade my phone and renew my contract. It's about three in the afternoon on a Saturday, so the place is pretty much slammed, there's a half hour waiting time just to see one of the sales reps, double that if you're looking to talk to a manager or a tech. Most people, myself included, are just looking to talk to a rep but the manager's in his office on some kind of conference call, so even though there aren't as many people that want to talk to the manager, the line for them is moving a lot of slower.

When it's my turn, I head up to the only open kiosk and start talking to the rep that's working it. Now, I'm a return customer whose business is fairly cut and dry so once he accesses my account, we get the next contract hammered out in like, five minutes and start talking upgrades. I guess this asshole that was waiting in line to talk to the manager had been watching us, because when we headed over towards display cases on some of the phones that my upgrade covered, he walked over and accosted the rep that was with me. He mentions something about how he's trying to collect a rebate that'd been offered to him when he started his contract, but every time he called up customer service, he got hit with a run-around. The rep calmly and politely tells the guy that he's going to have to wait for the manager to get off this conference call, to which the guy throws this huge passive aggressive hissy-fit, saying that he's already waited six months, but apparently his time as a "paying customer" isn't valuable to them and maybe he should just get on with AT&T and blah blah blah....

The rep couldn't really say anything else at this point other than "I'm sorry you feel that way" and, not satisfied, this douche tries to drag me into it by turning to me and saying "Hey, man, if they offer you any kinda rebate, don't expect to get it back."

I shut it down by telling him that I wasn't being offered one, I didn't give a shit that he couldn't get his and that he needed to go back to his line. Guess he wasn't expecting to be back-sassed like that, because he just sorta scoffed and then slinked out of the store. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

People who fake illnesses; whether for attention, money or to pretend to stand on a moral high ground (as if being ill makes you fundamentally correct).

When people dismiss other people's problems by comparing them to others who have it worse.
When people relentlessly criticize something but then can't take criticism of their favorite thing.
When people label those who think differently as 'troll' while being closer to the term themselves.
When people bring religion and politics into an unrelated discussion just to fail to prove any points.

Parents who don't pay attention to their kids and let them do whatever they want. Risking their safety.

Those who abuse children, significant others, and animals.

Those who look down on others for liking something they don't. Or vice versa.

I also get angry at myself when I feel like I'm not doing good enough at something or if I did something really stupid.

-When you debate people in matters relating to politics and you call them out for having no real knowledge of the subject matter and rather than say "You know what you're right, I should probably at the very least read up more on the subject more instead of just taking what Fox News/TYT says at face value" they say "Well hey man its a free country, don't I have Freedom of Speech man?" (THATS NOT EVEN THE ISSUE!)
