What makes you angry?

Let's see.
  • People who hate another group of people just for who they are. Whether it's the racists at Stormfront, the misogynists at The Red Pill, or the "white cishet male" haters at Tumblr. Fuck all of you people. I would say that you guys have the maturity of a child but that would be unfair because even children can be loving and accepting towards people different than them.
  • People like Josef Fritzl or Ariel Castro, who kidnap young people, isolated them from their love ones and shatter their hopes and dreams just so they can live out their sick and perverted fantasies on them. Death would be too kind to them.
  • Serial killers. Most murders in general. Unless it was in self defense or on accident. You're taking away a human's life. And more often than not has loved ones. All for some sick thrill or a selfish gain.
  • Rapists and rape apologists.
  • People who don't take mental illness seriously and say shit like "How can you be depressed? You were just laughing!"
  • People who have no goals. I get it. Not everyone can be a Harvard educated lawyer. Not everyone is fit for college. But regardless, everyone should have some idea what would better them for the future. And they should work towards that. But not everyone is like that. Take my friend for example. Love her to death and she's like a sister to me. But all she does is work part time at a pet store, RPs on Tumblr, plays video games, and watches anime. Womanchild extraordinaire.
  • People who are inconsiderate of others. Especially when you confront them about it and then they make up some half assed excuse on why it's your fault and not theirs.
  • People who have victim complexes and don't owe up to their mistakes.
  • Small children and babies who cry loudly in public and parents who do nothing to stop it. I understand that babies and little kids aren't aware of their surroundings and don't have the brain capacity to realize that their loud crying is fucking annoying. But I hate parents who don't attempt to calm their child down and instead just ignore them. Saw it a lot when I used to work at Old Navy
That's all I can think of for now. I'm sure I have more. Everything pisses me off.

I think the one thing that truly makes me angry is any insistence that I respect or believe in either a grossly uninformed standpoint or a falsehood. The right calls this faith, while the left calls this tolerance. It's a horse by two names on both sides of the political spectrum. I believe this upsets me so much because we have the capacity to either know the truth, or properly guide ourselves to the truth if we really know nothing. The insistence that I accept or respect a viewpoint that is uninformed or untrue runs contrary to the importance I place on truth. In my worldview, it's absolutely essential that everything one believes in be truthful, and well-informed where the truth is not yet known. By extension, I suppose this would make me a strong disbeliever in ethical relativism, and a heady proponent of objective ethics.

Essentially, things are either true or untrue, or right or wrong. It's not a matter of opinion; we just haven't really figured out whether some things are objectively true/moral or not. Colouring it as a matter of morally relative opinion is an underhanded tactic that enables special privileges for one belief over another. Consequently, if you're going to insist something is true or moral, you damn well better be right about it. Or else, the only correct position to take is laying out your well-reasoned case.

A close second that makes me angry, however, would be the shrill scream of a baby or children.

What really angers me is when people say things without knowing whether there is a truth value for it and the conditions that would make it true if applicable
The notion of some statements being true or false is surprisingly alien to many people who cannot understand the concept of an SP sentence

-Poor people with kids who waste money on smokes. They could give their children some semblance of a future and live long enough to see them make something of themselves. But no, they sell that future for what amounts to poison. Then they die a horrific death at 50 and have no inheritance to show their life mattered.

-People who believe everything they hear on the internet. This one guy I knew said things about Obama being muslim, fluoridated water being dangerous and destroying your third eye, and fewer people dying in the holocaust than reported. He didn't say any of these things out of any bias or agenda, he just heard them and thought they were matters of fact.

-People bitching about everything and then claiming they're "standing up for their rights".

-Libertarians who think they're so different and unconventional because of their highly conventional ideology, and that people only make fun of them because they don't understand what libertarianism is.

  • women that are pregnant and smoke and/or drink. one of my mates' current girlfriend smokes while being six months pregnant, and i can only wonder how he's okay with her dragging in all those chemicals into both her body and that of the developing fetus.
  • music elitists, because all they're doing is bitching at someone for having a different taste in coordinated noise than them
  • kids who scream "ABUSE" whenever their parents apply any sort of discipline.
and on a more personal level
  • people not telling me crucial information or personal issues for god knows what reason before suddenly unleashing everything at once.

When geese stand in front of the doors at stores at the mall. You try to go near them, and they hiss at you. What are you supposed to do? Slap it? Then all its friends are going to jump on you. If you try to walk away they think that you're a bitch and they chase you to your car. I almost got it by a car one time when a goose wouldn't let me near the entrance of the mall. I walked up and I thought he would move. He didn't. I tried to shoo him but he hissed at me and spit at me. I tried walking by him and he flapped his wing and snapped. I started to leave to go to another entrance and he started chasing me. I ran out into the mall parking lot and this asshole in a hummer almost hit me. He started honking and the goose was hissing, I felt like I was gonna fucking cry. I ran back to my car and went to the mall down the street.

Are you talking about the awful stock photo backgrounds or the terrible finger shredding blister pack nightmare?

I don't like people who are self centered, i don't like people who brag about their wealth, i don't like cynical nihilists.

DANE-ELEC USB drives. Not really anger-induicing per se, but they are annoying and crappy. I had one mysteriously not save some files, and then it started crapping out on me (files were dissapearing). And it was a pretty new drive too. Customer reviews by others indicate a widespread problem with them.

I guess when consumer products are built to break or like crap in general, it's really annoying and potentially anger-inducing.

Irresponsible parents. You know, the kind that have kids and then leave them with their parents all the time and never take care of them... Also, the kind who abandon their families or children.
Show some goddamn responsibility. If you're not worthy of being a damned parent, don't become one. Christ.

I may be rare in the fact that I rarely get angry, there are times where I get annoyed, but I can't recall a time I've gotten angry to the point where I've lost control. I believe that my inability to feel anger is probably due to dissociation and comes out as depression.

On top of that it generally takes a lot to make me annoyed.
