As a history sperg who is particularly interested in the American Revolution, its leadup, and the years after...I get angry (well, annoyed at least) when people - from all political stripes - cite "The Founding Fathers" as justification for their political opinion as if
A: They were a hive mind that all agreed on a single vision (hahahano), or
B: They were some semi-divine beings with clairvoyance whose words should be heeded until the end of time because a modern nation of 50 states and 300 some million people that's a global influence the likes of which the world has never seen before should be run exactly the same as a country with 13 states, ~25 million people, and that was, basically, a backwater country.
