Off-Topic What rights do trans people not have? - Discussion thread

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
The only rights you have are those that you can defend, so in reality trannies take their own rights away when they are not honest with themselves. Without defending the truth, they have nothing real to live for, which is why they kill themselves. The 60% who never face the truth are the ones who keep lying.
Disregardimg the obvious fact that they are not lacking any rights in the US, It is impossible to argue for "trans rights" in good faith since the prerequisite involves delusional sophistry in the first place.

This is absolutely true, any rights that are given to you can be taken away at a moments notice. The only way to secure rights is take them yourself. Previous generations, the suffragettes, the civil rights movement, LGB people, they got to where they are today because they were willing to endure a level of collective self sacrifice that troons could never do.

They have more or less the same rights as everyone else. That's why they're mad. One line that goes around on left twitter every now and then is "when you are accustomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression." Now what is the main class and race background of the people who make up the core of troonery in the west? Middle to upper class white people, the most privileged fucks on Earth. For all their oppression larping they could never handle real oppression. 99% of them would be boymoding and girlmoding the instant they came up against an enemy anything like the one they pretend they are already fighting.

I could have just put this into the "random thoughts and musings" thread instead of necroing this one, but it is directly relevant to the subject matter of this thread:

It makes me smile to see former members of the community realise this. There's hope even for (some) trannies.

It's funny that this is a thread.

I would answer they have all the rights and responsibilities as any other person has, and more than in any part of human history.

But just like human history, they want rights to things that they would have otherwise been denied, and that list is exhaustive.

I would argue that it was easier to understand Gay rights and marriage because ultimately it doesn't affect anything, and it makes sense to not discriminate against someone for their sexual preference.

Where the fight was for gays was adoption and religion. The jury is still out but currently you can go to church and think gays are sinners and not face any consequences other than social.

Where the rubber meets the road for trans people is that it's not exactly clear what makes someone trans, and most of the protests have been around making the normies play defense over things we never had to fight over before. We know for example what the difference between a man and a woman is. It's been that way since the dawn of man. We know that only women can get pregnant, and we know how they get pregnant.

But now, a trans person comes by and challenges it with no factual basis. And thus begins the insanity. And if you argue with a tranny you've already lost the argument. Because since you can't convince a reasonable person that a troon is not a woman, or define a woman, then it's ambiguous. And the powers that be are taking advantage of it to sew even more confusion.

So you live and let live. Whatever people do behind closed doors is their business right? But that's where the rub comes in. Now you get Lia Thomas's of the world. You get the questionable female boxers in the olympics. You get a trans person in public office (several). The problem now is that you suddenly feel compelled to go along with it. Another layer is pronouns. Never had to care about pronouns before, were never a point of contention. But to ally with the trans folks, now you have people who you know they are male or female but have different pronouns attached. Thankfully there is no legal consequence to 'misgendering' someone but people are starting to be weary of changing any of that.

But we don't know where the 'trans rights' train ends. The answer of course is total unlimited power in whatever vector they can gain ground. And I do mean everything. Any time a normie pushes back just incentivizes them to push harder. It's easier now to support gay rights than it is trans rights because at the very least the gays will leave you alone. They understand what it took to get here and the trans people are fucking it up for everyone.

To me, the only saving grace is that the 'rights' that we all hold dear as free citizens allowed to debate such topics (rip China and North Korea where trans people don't exist funny enough) is that they should survive heavy scrutiny. In a rush to quell the trans riots over the world they have overplayed their hand. Now there is revisionist history of trans rights and most of the 'agree with us or we will kill ourselves' tactics are falling on deaf ears. I imagine with the right incentives we can tell trans people to 'be trans' like the gays but that doesn't come with extra incentives. I also wish we had a truth in gender surgery law akin to what they used to do for abortion and tell people 'before you cut your dick off and take cross sex hormones, the chances of you not having lifelong disabilities in relation to all of this stuff is very small.' Sure, lets not go back to gay conversion therapy but understand that a lot of the time trans issues tend to be comorbid with other mental health issues and those should be addressed first before any medicine is administered.

Last and certainly not least, we should be able to shame perverts. I don't care about your gender ideology, the fact that we have to defend men in women's bathrooms leering at women and if he were a real man this wouldn't be okay scares the shit out of me. Regardless of the rights of trans people, it's morally wrong and they know it is. Which feeds into their fetish. Being trans shouldn't be a legal shield of protection on illicit activities. Again, even gay men aren't that perverted with access to such men in their own bathrooms!

They don't have the right to cut off their penises, free of charge, in a sterile environment. Trans girls can't cut off their penises at all! This is practically the Holocaust but for perverts!

I think Oliver Thorne frequently complains about not having the right to cut other people in line for surgery so he can get his amhole installed by the NHS post-haste at taxpayer expense. A lot of trannies have similar complaints that they don't have the "right" to get their gendercare as quickly as they'd like. (Not that they tend to regret the chop once it's been done eh)

Some troons like Zinnia Jones like to complain they don't have the right to make other people listen to their bullshit.
I think some troons would like a right to be able to make other people date and fuck them, ie, refusing to do so is a hate crime.

They want the right to compete in women's sports leagues, which has yet to be totally handed over to troons.

I think it's less about winning the scholarships and breaking the records, and more about the fact that being excluded is a stark reminder that they are imposters.

Except for the actual ones competing. Lia Thomas, Imane Khelif, et al are absolutely doing it for personal gain. But their supporters are in it because they'll accept nothing less than a complete breakdown of sex-based classification in favor of self-identification policies. It's all about theory for them, completely ignoring what's happening in practice.

Yeah. I read an article about troons once, and it suggested that the majority of their discomfort comes from what basically amounts to breaks in immersion. Like when you're at your fave Harry Potter movie in the theater and someone's phone goes off and it bugs you, because it reminds you you're watching a movie and not like, a fly on the wall of the world of Harry Potter. Troons hate being reminded of things that break their immersion in the make-believe that they're real women (or doods, as case may be.)
99% of troons are in no physical condition to be an elite athlete of any sport. For a long time I used to that to reassure myself that troons in the women's league wouldn't be a problem until Twitter Arguing became an Olympic sport. Alas. There are a handful of them who are good, just not good enough to compete with the men. And that's when they started asking if we couldn't put all of women's sports up on the altar to Slanesh so a handful of trans athletes could feel good about themselves.
