Imo so far it feels pretty underwhelming and a step back from the first game in most aspects so I dont think there is gonna be much motivation to buy the sequel to this one.

Hero Shooters are a saturated market so you need a vibrant cast of characters people want to play. They made uninteresting characters in an uninteresting world that felt muted. You even have games the fall in the AAA category that do enough to piss "everyone off" yet still manage to sell very well. Hogwarts Legacy, pissed off leftist because JK Rowling and it also pissed off 'the right' for the trans barkeeper and character creation. Life is Strange fun game is you're into the walking simulator style game. Pretty modern yet still an enjoyable series because it's well done.
